What model did you buy them for? I went the the parts store and found some for the 88-96 f150 that will work just fine.

I have Ground Force 70064 air assist shocks but haven't installed them yet. It's designed to use with their 5" flip kit drop. I was going to use them as an assist for towing or hauling.

On amazon, which is where I got mine, it says they're out of stock, but I'd contact them and see when they will get more since they're so cheap, $55 for the kit (shocks, fittings, and airline tubing).

The image is wrong but the p/n is what I have.

Are they actually "air shocks"?

They are gas shocks with air assist. The **** is where the airline fittings go which lead to a shrader valve.

They seem to be nice shocks. But I can't find them anywhere.

Yeah I got lucky and found the kit on Amazon for $55. Elsewhere they are at least $100 more than that.

I didn't cut the cross member for clearence. I notched it for camber adjustment. No issues with the inner fenders at all.

I dont get it I can hit just a little bump and either my tires hit the inner fender wells or the cross member drags do the single cad trucks sit higher than the extended cad trucks?

I know the stx's run a smaller diameter tire than the xlt. Maybe that is why my tires don't rub. The only drop components you have for the front are the lca's? I looked at your pics and it does look like it sits really low.
