Show off your street trucks !!
I was considering loosing my tonneau so I can rock my bike on the back like you...

...but I like having that enclosed (secure) space in the bed; plus I have (2) Optimas exposed back there.
- If all my bags fail, I can still roll the truck with no problem and get to a destination.
- If I was driving and, say, a dump valve failed I have no catastrophic problem with the truck suddenly & fully airing out. In fact I do that on the highway a lot, and it's comforting to know that I do not need to think about trying to control my drop on the truck and worry about hitting the ground and F'n **** up. By the way, my system is FAST (as you can see in the below YouTube vid); so it's even that more relevant
Hittin' Switches
- I wanted to keep my front sway bar. You can only go so low without having to ditch it. I tried driving the truck (since bagged) with & without it. I prefer WITH.
- I have no desire to rail.
- I wanted to keep my full size gas tank, in lieu of going with a smaller capacity and relocatiing
- I wanted a very small notched step up in my bed. I use it too much.
Like everything else in this world, to each their own, but this was a purposed decision for my specific needs and reasons. It works for my style & objective...not too concerned about if it fits in others defined "scraping" the asphalt category. It lays just fine for me and, IMO, when you mod your truck you do for yourself not for others. However, everyone is free to have their own opinion. I have my own in regard to other folks trucks as well.

Frame is 1½" of the ground. These are the following reasons why I chose not to lay frame.

We couldn't make CFAC this year. Hope we can next year.
What hotel did you stay at?
ive been thinking of painting my wheels black too... now that i have seen some one else do it.. i like it..
Actually, I kind of did something different with the grill. I have a Stull billet grille, then I went and purchased a GRILLCRAFT - Mesh Grille Insert as an overlay on top of that to give it a unique "crisscross" look.
I stayed at the Westin, South Coast Plaza. Hope to see ya next year!
In actuality, they are 1-off wheels that were milled from scratch; staggered with a 10" rear & a 9" front. My friend, who works on my truck, owns a hot rod shop and he has a partnership with a milling company and he has specific designed wheels that he sells under his shop name; as well as matching steering wheels. I saw the wheel I have on a Chevy Chevelle that he was working on...and I'm also a 'ol school hot rod, muscle car fanatic; so I wanted something with that look.
My wheels are called Boost.

I also order the matching steering wheel, which I'm waiting to get back from powdercoating.
