he said it was pretty much bolt on. they had to do a little modification to get the headlights in right IIRC.

not to mention he got it done for hella cheap thanks to my awesome craigslist skills haha.

i definitely love the way that frontend looks on a stepside tho.

did you find the whole front clip off of a wrecked platinum in the same color?? does this mean that the 09-10 bumpers can replace the 04-08 bumper and still look normal

i found some guy that had an all new OEM unpainted front clip, including the 09-10 bumper.

so that is the 09-10 bumper...is that what you were asking?

i was asking if the the bumper from the 09-10 f150s can fit on the 04-08 front end, keep everything the same except for the bumper swap it out for the 09-10 bumper, because i remember people on here saying it would be to wide

The 04-08 upper bumper valance has a different shaped contour than the 09-up, so the 09-up bumper would look dumb on an 04-08.

Ill agree the upper valance is different, but the bumpers appear to have the same curvature. The upper valance still runs solid on the bottom on both model year trucks. The 06-08 bumpers just have the slight dip where the opening is but i would think the 09+ wouldnt look out of place on an 04-08 and would be a pretty simple swap IMO.

That 09+ front looks kick *** on that stepside
