What do you guys think of an Audison LRx 1.400 powering a single BM MKIII? I got my hands on a used one for $220.

 

That'd be a good combo. Wire it to two ohm, just set the gains correctly so you don't overpower it. You'll have plenty of headroom

Time to start building the box.

 

I was up at 4 AM today getting drivers ready for shipment. I got the first 1/3 of the drivers sent out today and should have everyone's driver out to them by this Friday.

 

I'm thinking about building a temporary box to just sit on the backseat to get them in the truck while I'm building the permanent box for them

 

I might very well be doing the same since I'm going to take my time on the new box. I might fiberglass the bottom of it as well.

Did you ever install those ID components I sent you? I never heard back about that...

 

Wow, yeah I guess I never let you know about it did I? They've been installed since late last summer. Still running them passive and I desperately need to get the doors sealed up better but I've been really pleased with them. I'm thinking once it gets warmer I'll mess around with moving the tweets up to the pillars. But yep, overall they've been great. By the way, over at DIYMA my username is bsvrs. Figured I'd let you know just in case I need a reference over there sometime.

We are trying out a different shipping method to speed up delivery time, but it ends up sending you shipment notification from Sundown Audio since it passes through their shipping terminal.
