JL HD 750/1 Nick at SI said it will do just great with the 2 MKIII's so I am pumped to hook it up just waiting for some better weather in Canada

i got one of mine installed today, and its a night and day difference from the jl 12w6 i had in there before. can't wait to finish the other box and install the new amp. will post when i get that done this weekend.

It is definitely weird the first time you listen to some really clean subwoofers. When I put in the Kodas for the first time, I didn't know what to think because of how clean it is. For this reason, many SPL fans probably wouldn't like the BM because distortion sounds louder.
Speaking of SPL, Jacob at Sundown did a 143 dB with a single BM in a 4th order bandpass. In the little sealed enclosure, it did 136 dB. Just goes to show that these shallow subs, although SQ oriented, have serious *****.

its a cleaner sound. the sub really feels like its in front of me, like the mids have crazy bass. have to let it break in and see what its like in a week or so.

That was going to be my exact, next question. My v2 was one of the best drivers I have ever used. Very seemless in the setup.
