lol. well you know I was pretty happy with the system with the subs and those cheap 5x7 drop ins parts express sold a few years ago... but I was kinda forced into system v3.1 thanks to some thieves. the center piece is a jbl ms8

I know most of you don't care but on the off chance someone is actually following this
I got the remote mounted in the ashtray and the center speaker mounted in the top of the dash

Everything is in and working.. so my thoughts on the JBL MS8... one, using the built in amp its just barely gets loud enough for my liking and two I HATED the way is sounded at first. The imaging and sense of space was impressive and unlike anything I've ever experienced in a car. Center image is focused and high, but the frequency response didn't make my ears happy. after a little time tweaking the 31 band eq I was able to pull out the honk out of the 800-1.2k I was getting and I also bumped up a little midbass and cranked the sub and BAM. the frequency response just felt right.

Don (6spd),
are you still selling car audio equipment? I have been looking for your number for awhile now and can’t seem to find it. It’s hard to find old school audio guys, and even harder to find quality products. Please reply. Call me when, I need to start purchasing some stuff
