Sweet, your half way there now onto the finishing, which in all likelyhood will be just as hard as the construction.

A few Q's

How much clearance will you have between the speakers and the floor.

What size thickness Plexi will you be using

What are you going to do about finishing the inside of the box

Carpet? Why not some nice suede, then a laminate front?

Hey not nitpicking your design by any means, in all acctuality I like it alot, just a bit of food for thought.

Ever thought about getting the inside coated with a sprayed in bed liner? A friend of mine did a box for his car and had the inside coated with Rhino lining in white, he added a neon black light inside and due to the all white walls when he turned the neon on it glowed.

Also for the plexi window, given any thought to frosting/etching anything into it? With neon back lighting the frosted/etched area would look killer. Maybe put the Elemental Designs script, a Ford logo, just about anything would look great and give it that subtle unique touch.

Either way killer box and I can't wait to see the finished and installed pics.

I think OEM matched carpet may blend too much, making it look like less work on your part. I think even a small subtle change would do the trick. The way Im picturing it once installed the floor will look like you do alomst nothing at all and its just a frame sitting on the OEM carpet. Just my thoughts..
