HA! Or maybe you can buy it and let me use it. We can turn that repair shop of yours into a woodworking shop instead

gwargantua, lots of cutting, pushing, and cussing. Im still not really sure how I got it through there. I guess you didnt see my other post, huh 1.5 hours and I still didnt have it through, went and took a break, then came back and had it though in 5 minutes. lol

Patrick, mine came with a 300 amp fuse also, but I ordered a 120 amp fuse from Knu when I got the speaker wire and RCAs.
Im going to rewired the CD player first. I have an idea for that ground that Im going to try-worked in my old truck, hopefully it will solve my problem here. I still think some of it might be that d@mn delayed power wire that I have the turn on wire tapped into.

eDuh just isnt my kind of company. Id rather spend a little more money and get a nice product too, like the Raammat.

Ive used the edead 1.5 times now (half done with my friends truck) and i think its a very good product for the price compared to dynomat. I know its not the absolute best thing you can buy. But its very good for the average amuture sub install

Yeah, saw it right after I left this thread...this one was at the top of the page at the time...

I'm going try again and re-run a larger power wire, but i don't need one that big. I'm just going to use 8 gauge. I still want to see how that other guy ran the wires through the wheel well too...perhaps that will involve less cursing...

Ahh, 8 guage should be no problem after I somehow managed that 1/0 through there.

I just made a nice little slit with a carpet knife, and sprayed a little WD40 on the grommet where the slit was. 8 gauge should slide right on through

Alrighty, got some stuff today. Spent way to much money, and I also now remember why I hate the city

Sheet of MDF, some T-nuts and bolts, a new circular saw for cutting (even has a nifty laser thingy ) some cool paint, yadda yadda.
Instead of texture and paint to match the interior panels I said eff it and got some satin black textured paint. Sprayed a little tonight and it looks pretty cool, should work good enough for me.

Yeah, the place I got all my stuff didnt even have everything I was looking for (Menards for christ sakes, I thought they had everthing) and I about shat myself when I paid. Fricken had to buy each t nut and bolt individually, in their own little packaging. Damn packaging probaly cost more than the hardware.

MDF was 23 bucks, 3 cans of paint 20 bucks, and my total was 60 bucks.

That means I spent about 20 bucks on a few friggin Tnuts and screws (12 of each to be exact), and a few carraige bolts and pretty little acorn nut things for the amp rack. I was poed when I left that place!
I figured I would have been able to walk in there and buy things like T nuts and what not by boxfulls for a couple bucks a box
