I have not done any suspension modifications to my F-150, but I would like to see any 2wd do half the stuff I do. I agree what a previous response said (can't remember who), but the driver makes the vehicle. Well, you also have to consider where a skilled driver in a 2wd would have to plan a route out on a particularly nasty section of a trail, a 4wd driver would merely have to point it in the right direction and mash the go-pedal. Where I go 'wheeling most of the times, it's tricky for me, let alone a 2wd.

Also, about breaking the tires loose on loose ground.... you can set these things in 4wd low and just motor up almost anything at 1000 rpms.

Whoever said a locked 2wd spins 2 tires whereas a 4wd with open diffs spins only one: you're an idiot j/k, but a 4wd w/open diffs spins one tire in back, and one in front.

And to whoever said they had a '98 F-100 with a 4.3L diesel... you really are an idiot... no kidding there.
