Post Winches

has anyone here ever installed a Milemarker hydrulic winch on their F150. I have a 4.2L 4x4, and i want to know if the power steering pump has enough power to make this badboy run, or people are upgrading the pump first.

a url to the 'smallest' 2-speed (9000lbs) is here:

I have the mile marker. It is by far the best winch on the market. You won't regret it.

I forgot to answer your question. Yes the stock pump works fine. There are very few applications where the pump is a problem. I think some older toyotas and range rovers.

stuck,

Do you have the 2 speed one? How does it perform when self-winching and using the PS to turn the wheels?

I could fill pages with good things to say about this winch. Mile Marker makes ANY winch within twice it's price look like junk.
No problems with steering or anything else.
mine is a 9,000lb two speed. It will out pull a 12,000lb electric
