thanks! Before you post that thread, wait until we get some more pics and video (tornadom's vid, etc) together and make that post! Hopefully it will get some new faces out there next time. If you can, send me the video of that mud pit just so I have it with more clarity. You should have my email.

Just to clarify:
Josiah, Chris, Lauren? and Jessica went out in Josiah's truck (which is terribly nice in person), Jeremiah and his crew (didn't catch any names
and also an uber nice truck), my friend David (with the Wrangler) and his buddy went, and the guy with the Cherokee (who's name ivades me at the moment)... anyhow, we all went out as a group.
Fast forward a little bit...
...Josiah and his truckload experience, um, let's call it minor 'cooling system issues'. They all hop in my truck and save me from being alone, but in doing so we lost track of one truck and one Jeep. Damn!
I lead the way up a long, but fairly simple hill with my buddy's Wrangler bringing up the tail end. We reach the top of this trail, and have a nice view of the park... but still no sign of Jeremiah or the Cherokee. We hang out at the top for a while and Josiah walks down the hill he suspects they are on. Much time passed and we considered sending out a search party, but then we realized it was only Josiah.
Josiah meets up with them, and they make it to the top where we are at; the group is reunited and a short beer break is had by many (I had water). The Wrangler takes off down a nice smooth trail, and I follow in my truck loaded with occupents (2 of which were cute). The trail get progressively worse, and increasingly narrow. As if that weren't enough to suck, it decides to start switch-backing on us. Great! A 145" wheelbase Ford does not like to turn.
My friend David has quite a bit of off roading experience, was in a lifted Wrangler on TSL bias plys aired down to 13psi and running a Lincoln locker in the rear; he stopped, got out of his Jeep and looked worried. I knew at that point that things were going to get interesting. We walked down the bad section of trail to scope out a good line, and plan ahead since there was no way either of us could have backed up the hill. David went first with his spotter to help him out. He made it through fairly cleanly given his short wheelbase and the ability to make the turn. We weren't so lucky in the F150. We had to make the turn in sections, and found out that the *** end of a pickup really is light. At no time was there a chance we were going to flip end-over-end, but it sure did feel gnarly from inside the cab. I've had my truck on 2 wheels before, and I am sure I will have it on 2 wheels again before I'm done. Afterward we had a good laugh, and made it down the hill.
If the hill Jeremiah climbed was called the widow maker, the hill we descended was the return loop for it... it was fun.

This was that steep hill by camp. Both me, and Chris (Jeep with 40" tires, locked front and rear) tried and I was the only one to make it !! Ya, he's never letting that one down !

Nice
I am so pissed i forgot my memory card, i missed so many great shots. I just spent 2 hours cleaning off all the mud. I can only imagine how Josiah is doing with his, he had way more mud than i did. My buddy will have even more video tonight, can't wait. I see madmax's video of the mud fight has nearly 500 hits already. I think that video is going to explode.
haha yeah, that thing went crazy in just a few hrs. i uploaded all the vids and pics i have. looking foward to more video. i like to leave the mud on and see how many stares of amazement i can get from the rich yuppies that live around here. its priceless, besides im going to need to buff out the branch scratches so whats a little left over mud going to do?

That video is cool tell him thanks for editing, but youtube needs to work on quality. The part where tornadom is about to roll was...well we couldn't see anything but dirt out the windshield and then the chick dug her claws into my back. When we get back Jeremiah says, "So much for your posts, "when in doubt, we let our passengers out"...
It also looks like your truck is trying to dump Jack out of the bed hahaAnd yeah it's a bummer we missed some of Big50's climb up widow maker :[ Or even the creekbed at the very base of frank raines, down that trail we first took and turned around on
