yes, have a crack on the driver's side door

i was hoping it was just paint...

 

Wow. I just bought my truck a few weeks ago and always notice everything cosmetically wrong with a vehicle. I never saw this until I just went out to check. Sure enough, I've got one on the driver side. Do they tend to get worse?

 

1999, but bought it 2001. Had a small one on driver's side, about 1/4 inch. But it's never gotten bigger, knock on wood.

2000 super cab long bed with door crack on driver's side and one starting on passenger side. Truck had 60,000 miles when crack noticed. Dealer and Ford have been awful so I'm stuck with it. What really angers me is that Ford knew about this problem before my truck was even built. They should stand behind the problem. This is the first US vehicle I've owned and though I like it a lot, it may be the last due to FORD and Bob Baker Ford. Next truck will be a 250 class diesel. Might be Chevy or Dodge. Wish Toyota or Nissan made trucks like this.

 

Yep, driver door crack, right under the weather strip on the bottom right corner of the driver side window.

Just noticed drivers side on mine yesterday when washing it.
2000 supercab with 94K miles

 

Yup, drivers side is more than a crack, I have paint chip missing about 1/2" square area, passengener side I have just a small dot. I have about 138000 miles on the truck.

 

I have 302000 km (188000) miles and have a door crack on drivers side.

 

Mine's cracked just like the picture. I bought this truck new and at 52, 000 now I can't recall when I first noticed it.

 

My 2002 F150 has 82000 miles on it now, and still no cracks or blemishes. It might have to do with whether you have power windows or not. My friend has a 2001 f150 xlt(red) and it does have these small cracks, but he has power windows. Me and my girlfriend tend to not torque the window closed, so maybe it is easier on the door?

Just some ideas.

 

I have 63000 miles on my 98 and I have one 1/4" crack on my driver side door . I just found it...
