I wish that was the case, since I am bald! I can feel the love in the air.

We are all alone in this crack....
It has been almost 5 YEARS since this post was started and I don't see Ford helping us. Needless to say I, like many of us, am very disappointed. Dealerships in my local area say Ford will not honor this under a manufacturers defect warranty. As long as customers pay half the repair cost, there will be an implied acknowledgement that it is not a defect by Ford. I'll just keep filling the crack with epoxy and painting it.

After reading this thread, checked my 97 out and sure enough, cracks on both sides. Although they are hard to spot and minor, will these cracks grow over time and become worse?
Is their any sort of method I can use to stop it from cracking and rusting without replacing the whole door>?

My 97 Xcab has like a 3/8" crack on each door, but I just don't worry about it because if that's all I have to worry about I'm still coming out ahead.
