How to reset/erase radio presets

Newbie to the site. Recently bought a 2013 and wondering how to erase all the presets in the radio (2 AM and 3 FM - 10 each). Haven't found anything helpful in the owners manual.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

Would pulling the fuse for the radio accomplish the same thing? Disconnecting the battery might reset a bunch of other stuff that wouldn't need to be reset. This truck has a lot different stuff than my 2001 did.

You can try it. Looks like there is more than one fuse related to the radio.

Looks like there may be some "quality time" ahead of me with the owners manual. Or maybe just do the battery disconnect.

Thanks!

These are from the '13 manual I have. Both the '13 and '15 maintain the station preset if you disconnect/reconnect the battery.
Pick your favorite station/station's and reset them all.

"E. Memory presets: Store your favorite radio stations. To store a radio
station, tune to the station, then press and hold a preset button until
sound returns."
"A. Memory presets:
• Store your favorite stations for later access. When tuned to any
station, press and hold a preset button until sound returns and
PRESET # SAVED appears in the display."

Short answer to original question - No. You're likely better off to simply reprogram each preset to what you want each to be.

Your alternative would be to perform a Sync master reset which will erase EVERYTHING related to the infotainment system.

I did not know that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks.

That's 50 presets to reprogram (AMx2x10 and FMx3x10)...!!! And where I live in central Colorado there are not enough stations to fill that many spots - even if I repeat several several times! I haven't dug into what all is in the infotainment system to know what all is there so don't know what EVERYTHING means if I do the master reset.

Just want to get rid of what the previous owner(s) had set up.

Thanks again.
