Been getting flurries all day, nothing really good, not sticking to the ground. Plus the wind is blowing like crazy. I live about a block from the boardwalk, so that probably doesnt help with the wind. I just want to see like a foot or two of snow so I can take pics and send home.

Been working and dealing with the morons from the clean up company who apparently can tell wet sheetrock from dry and wether or not if a black mark is mold. Another fun day of dealing with the insurance ppl.

Talked with your dad yesterday and he said the damage is much more extensive that you first reported. He said they are trying t save some sheetrock istead of doing the right thing and re sheetrock the whole thing.

I feel for you dealing with the adjusters who are only looking at thier bottom line.

I had one of the guys from my Fire Co. over the other night. He's been in business for 40yrs and he said the same thing. Im basically going for a total resheet of 5 rooms, it would never match the way the idiots from the restoration co. plane on spot patching the walls. Right now they cut about 18inch from the floor up and would plan on coming in and cutting an additional 12 to 18 inches then patch. I said no way unless they go to the seam, but my friend said if your going 4 foot might as well go the other 3 to 4 feet and do wall areas. So just sitting waiting for estimate from insurance co. to come in to see what I have to work with.

Are you South Jersey boys getting any snow/ice? We have about 2 inches of snow right now and it's freezing rain at the moment. I heard overnight is when it really hits.

It snowed, sleeted and rained last night then turned to rain. There's nothing on the ground now. It's just cold and dark out.

Up in PA, where I go to school, we had about 2 inches of snow then sleet and freezing rain. Had a two hour delay at the school I teach at.. Not to bad of a storm this time...
