Had a great weekend but very busy! Went up to Iowa Friday afternoon, celebrated my Dad's birthday at Famous Daves, great food! Went pheasant hunting Saturday and had an awesome time, got 12 birds by noon and the weather was perfect! Watched the Hawkeyes destroy Michigan State and then headed back home. Last night went out to a Halloween party at a friends place, actually got dressed up for the first time in a while! Pics below.

Yeah this thread has been pretty quiet recently. Didn't do much myself. This was my only 2-day weekend the entire month of October and this month of November I only have one 2-day weekend as well which is Thanksgiving weekend. Busy busy busy.....Still can't believe it is already November. This year will be over in a few more blinks of an eye.

Welcome to the board, USAFORD. Thanks for your service for us over there. I'm sure we would be glad to have a get together when you get back. Where are you from in Iowa? Let us know what you have waiting for you to drive when you get home. Take care Bud.

Thanks jump n!! I would love to have a get together when im home in feb. Right now my R&R is slated for the 15th of feb through the 1st of march, but that could move up or back a few days.. Anywhos i have a 2005 DSG FX4 SCREW waiting for me at home.. I bought it for myself as a present when i left germany back in jan, i had to sell my other truck before i came back and that broke my heart, so i had to upgrade!
I had a 2000 ford ranger that i had put a 4" sl and 3" bl on, 35s, 4.56, cattle gaurd, roll bar, 6 KC lights, gibson exhaust, i had SO Much money into that thing haha..

But the 150 has always been my dream truck and now i have her! Shes pretty much stock for now, but i am in the process of trying to decide on a 6" lift and 35's or 8" lift and 37s.. Im thinking i will go with the 6/35s setup for now, i can always go higher later..

Oh and I am from the AWESOME (lots of sarcasm) town of Red Oak iowa and went to school in Stanton.

Looks like that was a blast I have been working so much on the farm, that I have not had time to get out and hunt.

I did manage to get 9 chords of wood cut for my uncle this weekend though between three of us running saw's it didn't take to long.

yea it was fun, headed back up this weekend to try again! That is a lot of firewood. How much will you go through in a winter? I assume you have some kind of wood burning stove or just a fireplace? My family all has the stoves that can run on wood pellets or corn.

I am cutting it for my uncle, but all they have is a wood furnace. Its a big firebox 100 yards from the house that heats up water that is pumped to the house and through a "radiator" that has air blowing over it to heat the house. It is very efficient. They will use about 3 chords a year but this past winter was very hard on all the oak and they have a bunch down. We want to clean the pastures back up and get it out of there before more gets added to it.
