As for the discount boats, I'm sure by now that you have realized that I am looking for a boat for my large family, I'm the oldest of 5 boys and my dad needs a toy. And of course, I'd be incharge of towing because I'm the one with the truck that can tow (dad has a 4cyl 5spd Ranger)... of course it would be funny to see our Roadmaster WOODY stationwagon towing a 24 foot poontoon down the highway. But with a 5.7 LT1 under the hood, it'll have plenty of power.

 

Sorry we have some issues that that I am trying to work throu and so I didn't get around to talking to them about how one might obtain one of those or how much they might cost. I'll be there first thing Monday morning so I'll try to ask then. From wha tI understand so far a few are brand new 2006 Suncruiser, Bimini model made by Lowe. I think the smallest Bimini that they make is 20'. No I/O's though but they do have up to 150 horse outboards on them. The Bimini models just got introduced to the dealers 2 weeks ago. Dealers don't even have them yet and they can't get them either, atleast until Oct. You'd be the only one on the water with one this year!

 

i live at the lake of the ozakrs and i would at the local waterpark/amusment park. and if you guys would want to have a meet here at the lake this spring i could get this organized and we could get some discounts on the parks along with a huge parking lot to have the show at. if not it is cool i am just trying to get us f150 enthusist together.

loudandlifted - I like the idea of the get together, there was some talk about one a month or two ago but that idea fell through, we need to start talking seriously about a get together I think it'd be fun.

 

I agree, it would be fun to meet as a group somewhere to get aquainted.
Lot of nice places all over the central Missouri area. Even the state parks are fun to meet at. I will be watching to see if this gets going again. The weather is almost too nice and that should be good start. Some dates may not work out for us but will try my best to make it.

We need ideas while the weather is still nice!!! Anybody?? State parks, backyards, Walmart parking lot (I hope not). There's a nice state park about 45 mins. from my house, Cuivre (SP?) River State Park, about 45 mins from my house, off of Hwy. 47, which is off of 40/61 or 70, it's probably 20 - 30 mins from 70 and 10 from 40/61. Or there's Babler State Park off 101 I think. 1 something something.
