Show Me Missouri!!!
YEP---it started out as Dee Electric, now it's
Speedline Technologies / Electrovert [we still product the Electrovert product line.

Scotty's a good one! He became a daddy last year---I'll tell him hi for u.
My wife said that Candy's was last night---I'm needing to get things straight.
The TA needs to be looked at before I drive it very far, lifter noise.
I know there's a set of snowflakes for sell in our car club. I can find more about them if Urban Cowboy wants that info. He can find most anything about anything on this internet, there are many places that talk about the TA. Even Ebay is a good place to locate needed items. I'm not sure that I would much help, but will do my best at what little I might know....
:o
wow, 10 years---I went to my 30 [3 years ago] Eldon Mo.
The race will be on in a little while, I saw where Jamie McMurray will in the #6
car after Martin retires. [2] Missouri guys in the Roush racing team.
Keep on Keeping on!

Yea Scotty's always been a pretty good guy. He'll make a good dad.
Wow last night???
Guess I missed it too. Apperently it is the second saturday of each month then.
Urban Cowboy found 2 snowflakes for $100
When I was looking for some for my cousins 3-4 years ago we couldn't find any for less than $1k each!
Maybe you can get your lifters tightened and I'll see you next month.

I beleive the height to be around 500 ft above ground. You climb up from the water basin on the outside of the tower and 2/3rds of the way up there's a access hatch that you go thru and climb the rest of the way on the inside.
The concrete is only 6" thick in most of the shell---1.5 feet thick at the base.
[I may be off on these, it's been 26 years since I worked at Marley]
The base is almost a football field in diameter.
Hey Matt! The TA is up and okay---some vaccum hoses were not re-installed correctly. I put some photos out of the TA from our crusin Saturday.

Hey all!
Didn't know there were so many Missourians on here. This is great.
I'm live in Columbia now, but am originally from Harrisonville.
I noticed that Moltman is from Harrisonville also, and is my same age.... I will put my email on here for you to give your real name if you want Moltman, I'm sure we might know each other.
Green 98, I also went to CMSU, lived in Houts-Hosey (unfortunately). It was a dive when I lived there but at least it was co-ed then!
I would like to see a group started that got together once in awhile also, it might be cool. I am willing to drive to help someone out with their truck.
Take care.

Hello DSN46 welcome aboard, you should click on the general disusion forum sometime and say hello to everyone there too.
There are a lot of strange charecters on there and it's always a wild ride but so much fun it's very addicting.
We really do need to plan a get together, but since it dosent seem to be getting organized then I'll start planning.
First off is everyone on here from Missouri atleast 18 years old?
Second what dates are best for most every one between the following.
Fri.-Sun
Aug. 5, 6, or 7
or Aug. 12, 13, or 14
or Aug. 19, 20, 21
I'm thinking get together one of those days late afternon early evening around Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. and have some supper.
Meet each other, say hi, look at our trucks, do some bench racing, maybe go for a scenic drive (maybe) or just cruise the strip, then go to a night time facility and have a few brews for those that want to (and legally can) and do some more bench racing.

Yeah CoMO!!
@ PSS-Mag
A meet sounds great, unfortunately all three of those weekends suck for me. 1st weekend I have to play Army (Guard duty), second I have a university event, and the third I'm hosting a quasi-reunion for some friends. Hows the last weekend in August look?
BTW, old enough to consume adult beverages, legally.

Opps I missed that one some how..
Aug 26, 27, or 28 is good for me.
Just guessing I'd say probably Saturday the 27th so no one is trying to rush around after work Friday.
Hows' that sound to everybody so far?

ZelenVR,
Where were those pics taken in Columbia? The houses look like a "South Ridge"/ Vanderveen kind of area. But then again, all of the new neighborhoods in CoMo look exactly the same anymore.
By the way, your Orwell tag-line is the motto of where I work! Don't know anyone else who subscribes to it. Good call.
Peace

Actually that pic in the sig is at my parents house in Saint Louis just after I bought the beast. Found it at a Chevy dealership in Ballwin of all places. The ones in my gallery are at my house here in CoMO, south of Bearfield, across old Niphong, back in that new subdivision. Think its called Bearfield Meadows.
The Orwell outlook comes from a good conservative upbringing and most of my family being in the military, along with a bit of military service myself.
Where do you work at? Would love to find a place of employment that isnt crawling all over itself trying to be all PC and touchy-feely, do-you-need-a-hug?, hippy, tree-hugger-ish. Sorry, got a little carried away, need my Michael Savage fix. But you know what I mean. Some place where the people have their heads on 'right'.
See ya 'round.

ZelenVR,
I know exactly where Bearfield Meadows is. Nice area.
To answer your question about what I do. I am a Police Officer. The Orwell quote is written on the backs of some of the shirts we wore on the SWAT Team for a sub-gun match. (Actually our team is called the STAR Team).
I live out in the county now.. had to get out of the city! I left my email on one of my earlier posts, if you want to meet sometime, or if you need an extra hand and alot of tools to fix or modify your rig, let me know.
Take care.
PS: I was soldier once myself... and I get my Savage fix everytime I can.

Okay... we've finally got the work plan taken care of and it's looking like I'll be in the Salem area (Iron, Dent & Renyolds Counties) over the next 3 or four months.
When are we going drinking?
