Hey J-dub, born and raised in Oakville too! OHS c/o '98. My parents live right off of Becker Rd. at the end of Telegraph.

I used to work at the recruiting office down by 7-11 and take HMMWV's (Humvee) from there and go down to Flamm City and go muddin on the riverbank and back in those woods, and also into that dirt bank area before the power plant road on the right side of Telegraph going towards Arnold.

Out in Columbia finishing up school right now. See you around!

I'll probably be in Missouri... I doubt I'll be in StL though.

BTW, I drive through Festus every single trip down here to Salem/Bixby/Centerville/Lesterville/Farmington/Leadington/etc... Highway 67 is very familar territory.

Newbie saying hi

Just picked up a 2000 F150XLT 4x4 Ext Cab 5.4L w/75,000 miles. Have discovered quite a bit of helpful info so far. I too am from the Lebanon, MO area. Moved here from Louisiana about 6 years ago.

Hello thebrain,

Wow another Lebanon guy!
I'd ask for pics BUT... We'll just have to get together sometime for some coffee, or work on our trucks, or something and I can check it out in person. I have lived here all of my life born and raised.

Please tell me your not the 2 tone midnight blue and grey 4x like the 2X in my signiture that I seen in town the other day???

I can tell you that anything you could want to know can be found somewhere in this forum. Ohh yea and most anything you could want to know about your truck too. LOL

This board has already saved me countless hours tweaking on my truck since I joined in December. After browsing around here the last few months I also now know some of the more common things that might happen and what to look at if or when they do!

I'm getting ready to work on my brakes today. Long story short they were hot from pulling a trailer. I ended up in a situation I shouldn't have been in. The mud holes were a lot deeper than they looked and they got dunked while they were hot... LOL

Mine is silver metallic. Picked it up at Lindsay's. Traded a 2000 Jeep Wrangler SE for it. I have noticed the threads regarding the speed control issue. Has the proper fix been released from Ford yet? Would be nice to have cruise back in action.

Sounds like a nice truck...

To my knowledege the fix isn't available yet... I am still using my cruise taking my chances so I hope they hurry up with it.

Did you take the Nascar truck for a test drive while you were there? Just for grins if nothing else. I drive by twice a day and keep thinking about stopping in to drive it.

Once I saw the sticker price on the Nascar truck, I knew there wasn't a chance in Hades of driving it. It is a nice truck though. Thanks for the 411 on the speed control issue.
