Still not doing it's thing. I replaced the lower control arms on my beater this weekend and need to do an inner tie rod so the truck's on the back burner. I took it out this evening though. I think I'm going to just take it to the dealer, most scanners won't read brakes unless it's a zillion dollar SnapOn type unit.

MDK, I grew up in Poquoson, three miles from the base. I got your email, whenever you're ready, give me a heads up, and I'll see what we can do. If anyone is in the Hampton, Newport News, or Yorktown area (or want to travel a bit), I have a complete shop at my house (welders, plasma cutter, 9000# vehicle lift, etc.). Anyone needs help with work on their trucks, let me know. My truck is an 84 Bronco, 302, 4spd granny, 4.56 axles, and 39.5 Swampers. Old lady's truck is a 77 F150, 302, 4spd granny, 40 Monster Mudders, 4.11 gears. In case anyone wants to know, I am also a Ford certified chassis master tech, and have worked at Bowditch Ford for the last 13 years as a mechanic. Prior to that, it was fixing cars in the backyard for about 10 years.

What about using your lift to spray out undercarriages....especially after a very salty trip to the mountains

If you want to clean the garage out afterwards, ok.

Yeah, guess I wasn't thinking about that, sorry. For some reason, I assumed you were all set up with floor drains...the whole nine yards. If I ever decide to take you up on that, I would gladly clean up and maybe even bring you a case of beer, if you drink that is

Got a fridge full of cold ones. If anyone close by needs work, there isn't much that I can't do. I tend to charge half (or less) of what we charge at the shop. I don't have floor drains, but the floor is two inches higher in the back so that it does drain out the front. BTW, the door is 10 ft high and 16 ft wide. Garage dimensions are 28ft by 40 ft.
