ED at Magnuson told me they don't test the blowers past 14,000 rpms and since I spin both the Eaton and the Magnuson at close to 19,000 rpms, it may be that it just can't handle those rpms.

If anyone is curous what the stock Eaton looks like with over 36,000 miles on it. Here is a pic I took when I went back to the eaton

I just want to say I am not trying to bash Chis or Works. He has tried his best to help me. It was Magnuson I was upset with.
It has taken me allmost 3 weeks from the time they got my blower, to admitt, it may not have ingested anything. They just don't know what happened. They told me it lookes like rotor and or metal from the case that is all over the place. If anything got injested it is gone by now.

That's a great way to start off a post and I expect nothing less from you. Don's supercharger in no way was altered. Magnuson will testify to that. How many people have taken their upper plenums off, polished them, and sanded them to get the casting marks out and never had a problen with the blower!, why?!, I'll tell you why because you can alter the upper plenum without hurting the supercharger.

So now you are openingly admitting to running a 350 shot of nitrous? When you ran your 10.78 you stated you were using a 250 shot. You are constantly putting your foot in your mouth, aren't you tired of it yet?

AS STATED BEFORE DON'S SUPERCHARGER WAS NEVER ALTERED!

PS- Doug please keep this open, I'm in a rare mood! LOL

Well Jim, how DO you expect to be responded to when everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie. There is no having an intelligent conversation with you, all you do is lie to make yourself look better and everyone else look bad.

When I ran my 10.78 I was running the Works blower at 18 psi and a 150 shot of nitrous. When I ran at the shootout, I was running the stock Eaton at 14 psi and a 250 shot of nitrous. I've never said otherwise. I know all the lies in your head must run together at some point and cloud the truth for you.

BTW, is all the talk of these other blowers hampering your M166 sales?

If only

All of this could have been avoided if Don would have gotten the mysterious M-166 JDM blower that he was supposed to get in the first place.

Too bad this had to happen to you Don, you seem like a really helpful and cool guy, I was hoping to meet you at the JDM event last week. Maybe next time.

Am I really reading this? Someone took a freaking hacksaw
and file to a brand new blower and NOW the owner wants
the manufacturer to replace the item?

I would hope that the person that did the sawing would
just buy a new super charger for Don.

Don ... Truly sorry about your problem, but once someone
touches it ... it's yours. I have one of those $500 mistakes
sitting on my workbench in the garage that really belongs
to that New Jersey punk Jim D'Amore.

Cliff

PS.....

While I absolutely believe in "what goes around, comes around!",
I never believed that Jim's refusal to take back my chip as he had
promised to, (H E L L ... he originally told me he would BUY me
Sal's chip but that "word" was reneged on also!) but then refused because I
cut the switch off would boomerang so d a y u m fast.
Out freaking standing!

LOL ... 'Bout the way all those pictures of caged pulley
nightmares must be dragging down pulley sales. I heard
that sales of Metco's design are flying out the doors.

RARE MOOD WOULD BE TELLING THE TRUTH WHICH YOU ARE NOT, SO YOU ARE IN NOMRAL MODE, LOL

Sal never told you he sent it back because of rotor pack problems, he sent it back to get the intake reworked for the other blower, thats been known for months

i know for a fact that sal was running a 250 shot as i spent 3 nights with him while we worked on our trucks.

he was going to up the jets by 50 to 200 to compensate for the stock blower being back on the truck and then I was polite enough to point out the fact that with his new electronic control box, he could run 250 and dial down to 200 at the 1/8th

sal then laughed and said "it's hard to argue with your logic, lol"

for a grown man, why you would intentionally tell a bold faced lie is beyond me......

and on top of that, i wasn't away from sal for 1 minute except when we actually were running down the track, so i know for a fact you are lying

Unless the hacksawing altered the rigidity of the case and directly caused the problem I don't see what the problem is. Don just posted," I just got off the phone with Ed Tresbeck from Magnuson. He told me after further inspection that they could not tell that it had ingested anything. He told me it looked like it had been severly overspun, because of that the rotors made contact with the housing. This is what they believe caused the damage." Magnuson believes that the blower was overspun so why shouldn't everyone else? Was Don told by the Works people that 14K rpm was the limit? I have never heard that, but what is said online is usually only part of the story anyway.

I destroyed a part of my caged pulley and Jim replaced it...

Grey03,

Since you had made mention that you were at the JDM day on Friday, sorry I didn't get to meet you or your 03 Lightning. I tried to make it a point that day to meet everybody. Could you please identify to me who you were and what you were driving so I can put a face to the name.

Sal,

14 Lbs. of boost with your stock Eaton and you ran a 12.99 without nitrous at the JDM day. You're gonna tell me that the 4 extra pounds of boost from the Works blower adds 100HP? Because you had to add an extra 100 shot of Nitrous to run the same times as you did with the Works blower. I think someboooody's fiiiiiiibbing.

As far as the 166. If the blower existed at this time, this would actually hurt my sales. Nobody wants to see an aftermarket blower fail.

Sal, can you please post pictures of your blower as it stands now. (Top, botom, and side)

WOW! Sal called ALL 3 of his customers to attack me. Evidently you can't read, the blower was never altered!

Cliff,

You choose the same magic words as Sal does to post. Your an inspiration to us all.

Beef,

If you were standing by Sal the whole time tell me which jet sizes he was using.

Jim@JDM (Off to get a hair cut now, be back at 10PM)

I am not even a tuner and i can answer that question,

you fail to mention that sal's truck is geared for much more HP, he downgraded to 3.55 gears and runs a 30 inch tall slick,

also, he was set up on a nitrous program which i am assuming for his truck is about 8 degrees of timing, he forgot to turn the nitrous on and you know that too,

how can your people buy this crap

That doesn't even make any sense.

I ran a 12.94 on JDM day when I forgot to turn the nitrous back on after my burnout. My truck is not built to run off nitrous. So it doesn't go very fast off nitrous. Launching with a low 3.30 rear end ratio and a super fat program with less timing than stock on no spray, does not equal good times.

It's funny as hell that you are calling someone else a fibber. That's like the pot calling the kettle black. People don't call you Jim D' A More Lies for nothing.
