Since I am not going to be around to deal with the childish backlash to whatever I do to this thread, since I have a fever of 102 - I am going to leave this issue to Steve. You all have fun I'll check back in in 12 hours or so when the nyquil wears off to see whos left standing...

and I for one certainly hope that you are feeling better very soon.for some of us, this is just a hobby, for some of us this is a business, for some of us this is a way of life.
sometimes the three get mixed up and get too serious (especially when money is involved) which could be the case with all 3.
It seems all too often that some of us FORGET WHY WE CAME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Some still come for the fun (talking to people) or the info, some now come for the money (to sell stuff).
Regardless, we all originally came here because Lightnings are fun and we all enjoy them (or did at some point).
I can't tell anyone not to be so serious, because some folks among us have alot of time and money riding on what gets said around here, but like rodney king said... "(oh you know what he said)".
SORRY TO SIDE TRACK THIS EXCELLENT POST. now back to the technical stuff and drama...

We had to enlongate the holes on the black accesory bracket on the drivers side of the blower, and move it foward. We couldn't elongate the holes any more than we did, because there was not any more metal. The actuator still hit the bracket and because of that was pushed further in than what chris had it set at. I could take the bracket off tomorow and post, or send you a pic.

I know exactly what you had to do, my bracket holes are elongated as well. Even if that wasn't a concern, the by-pass still has to be removed to install the blower mounting bolt under it, then re-installed and re adjusted.
