Since I am stuck in Cincinnati for work.

I watched the video again, and I have a theory. Yes, I think the video is real but the bike is misleading.
After watching the road and the side of the road he was not doing 220mph.
What I think is going on is he has dropped the number of teeth on the countershaft (front) sprocket by a few and maybe added a few teeth to the rear. Since the speedometer is driven electronicly by the front sprocket the speed indicated would be much higher. Also the way it seemed to rev out really fast makes me think it is geared much lower than stock.
That would explain the wheelie and the RPMs plus the indicared speed

Now i'll go back to my corner and be quiet
Later,
Marvin

P.S. Chuck, being married is good. But she has a lot of learning to do still

RTKILLA,
Sorry dude, just not true. His head bounced at 140MPH. BS. He brings his head down at 150 MPH, BS. If you read my messages you would know that I love bikes. No L can hang with them. I've actually done most things on a bike, been riding for 31 years, and have 3 now. You have obviously not done a power wheelie over 120MPH, because if you had then you would KNOW that this movie is a farse. But hey, maybe you can, if so lets hook up and you can show me. I'm not saying the vid wasn't cool, just that the speed was wrong. WAY wrong.

Alright guys you beleive what you want about it, I really don't care if you guys beleive it or not.

A bike with 300+HP would do 220+ easy and you all know it.

My bike has 140 stock and its nothing to do 180+ on it. so add another 160+hp and you can't pick up 40 mph?

I would have to agree with the BS crowd

I have a zx-11 and have gone over 3 figures on it.. I can tell you that the speed of the surroundings give it away.. I was checking out the side of the road and the stripes.. no way it was going that fast.. not saying it couldnt, it just wasnt.. but it was a pretty cool vid.

i don't think that is even possible to be real. how does the speedo show acceleration when it is driven by the front wheel and the front end isn't even touching the ground? i realize that the wind will spin the wheel some, but not that much.
also, don't you think the wind would push the bike over?

Sorry Joe, it's fake. I've been 190 in a car at the track and everything is a blurr. Sweet bike though.

I will agree with Marvin to an extent........

That bike isnt really doing 220... it definately Has a different sprocket for acceleration which would throw the speedo off......
Now dont get me wrong that bike is moving but I dont think it is doing 220.... I dont know about that front speedo reading thingy though... But I am sorry that bike does NOT have stock gearing.....

OK so he isnt going as fast as claimed I agree but it is possible to do a wheelie at more than a bill I have seen it done. I have a friend who races sport bikes his dad drags harleys professionally and I have seen them both pull the front of a bike up at more than a bill and ride..example..more than 1/2 way down the track he pulls the front wheel off the ground shift and bring it down right after shifting again into 5th this time! btw he ran 198 in the 1/4 that run

Japs

I"m thinking the speedo may have been in Kilometers. Count the stripes when the speedo hits 100 as he slows down, looks more like 60 to me. Still an awesome video though!!

after watching it again I still have to say hes got b@lls to peg a street bike. Think about it..helmets are only rated to take impacts of 15 mph or less and you have nothing but the wind around you..still a cool video
