Mod Motor ShootOut! Challenge!

I just want to let everyone know. that JLP will be putting up the prize money for the Lightning Heads Up Class! this class will have no weight restrictions. and will be run on a .400 pro-Light. This class is a Heads up class which means 1st 1 to the finish line wins! The trucks that will be running in this class will have to meet the required safety rules. So if you run 12's then make sure your truck will pass tech. If you run 11's make sure your truck and the driver has all the required safety equipment. We have to follow the safety rules. This class will be for Gen 2 Lightnings with 1 Power Adder. Be it NO2,Turbo,or Any Kind of supercharger! But not the combination of 2 power addders. I have nothing against NO2 it just makes since to keep the playing ground as even as we can. so therefore we have decided to just have this class for 1 power adder only! For those who wish to run 2 poweradders i believe they can in the *street* lightning class. We keep hearing how my *tuner* is better than your *tuner* or my truck is faster than your truck. I think its time that we get together and really see who has the fastest trucks! And i'm willing to put up the $ to find out! here is how it will pay: 1st. place will pay $1,200.00 2nd place will pay $500.00 3rd place will pay $ 150.00 And a new JL Airkit will be giving for the best reaction time! I Put this challenge out to All of those who will be willing to show what they got. I want this to be a very Fair and enjoyable Event! And i know we all want to see who has the Baddest! Lightning. I believe we all can get together and have a Great! time competing against each other. in a freindly manner. the event will take place @ Cecil County Dragway on the 29th and 30th of June.. I also believe we can enter both lightning classes this means we have the chance to win $2,200.00 plus an Air Kit! I know alot of us would like to win $2,200.00 to help pay for our mods! I have raced in alot of Lightning events and have never had the opportunity to win this much $$. So if your interested in showing what you got and getting paid big $$ at the same time then mark your calender for the Highest Pay out for a Lightning Class ever! JL

Thumbs up walk the walk

JL, Thanks for stepping up and offering the kind of payout that makes it worth while to travel a long distance to race! I wish NMRA & FFW would do the same for the L's! You know I'll be there

I'm sure the NMRA will be paying out more $ as each year draws more lightnings. Us lightning owners are starting to show up at alot of these events. So the more their is the more the pay outs will be....JL

People had better make sure they follow all of the tech rules. When it comes to money you will be disqualified for any rule violation. Studs, cages, mufflers, Harnesses, etc.
