F*c#k*n* BS--->>>
I think some people here have just forgotten that lightning owners are indeed better then the rest of us and therefore deserve preferntial treatment. For a reminder, please see the thread "are lightning owners better then the rest of us?" LOL.
Well, well, well!!!!!
One thing I am is PATIENT, very patient, but that day was annoying because it took them six hours to do a half hour job!!!
Oh, well, excuse me on the LCA arm mix-up. Is that big F#$king slotted hole that hard to see in the shop when you guys put another one on!!!
I don't like doing this fordtek, it really bothers me that people like you come here just to make points as to why Ford did what they did. I can say that my Lightning is in perfect shape and has no problems.
There is no doubting the problems with these trucks when they were made, but Ford does it pretty well.
That is another thing that bothers me....why is the hell would you pull off the cab of the truck??? I recently helped a buddy of mine put in a LT1 donor engine in his 2000 S-10 Xtreme and all we did was pull of the front of the truck and it was very easy to remove the engine and access parts of the engine. I will guess that you will tell why you guys do that!!!
Well, a few things for that.
1.) I am done with racing.
2.) Torque converter problems. To tight from the factory.
And what the f@$k does that have to do with anything??
Even if I didn't race this truck before I would still be argueing with you because some techs for Ford just love to know nothing about these trucks but still call themselves SVT techs!!! That is what bothers people, and that is why the people who work on my truck, work on them everyday and have a lot of experience.
From my earlier post, the dealership's SVT tech had no idea what a I/C was, so what do you think I am going think about their shop expertise???
Oh, and when I bought this truck for $30,000, I expect to be a $30,000 Ford customer and not get treated like I own a Focus!!
Free car wash my a$$!!!

I'd like to watch you pull your cab off with a chain hanging from the tree in your backyard. The chances of you replacing your own cylinder head are about as good as the chances of you getting a knobber tonight
And one more thing about your sig, if black is statistically the fastest color, how come you can't break a 12.90?

I took my L in to the local dealer to have the Herb's washers installed after a lengthy conversation with the service manager. 3 hours later my service writer called me back to tell me they couldn't install the washers because they were too big in diameter to fit in the holes. I said ,"that's funny, many other's have had them installed and they fit fine." The writer had the service manager go take a look while the truck was on the lift. The service manager said the same thing, They will not fit. To make a long story short. I took it home and installed them myself in about 20 minutes. After going back and talking to the service manager after, it turns out they were trying to install them in the wrong control arm. I'd even told them before exactly where they go. Not all, but I've dealt with several techs in the past that thougt they were all knowing and had a severe attitude about them. You think they have a "S" on there shirts....s-u-p-e-r sumpin???

You have got the ***** to approach a total stranger at the drag strip because you know they work for Ford and you are looking for a handout.
You wanted me to order and install a BRAND NEW ENGINE in YOUR damn truck UNDER WARRANTY because your frigging JDM chip leaned out your mix and melted the electrodes off of two plugs? And because you say your truck uses 1 quart of oil every 1500 miles! So what! You ***. then you had the nerve to write me a VERY RUDE e-mail and harrass me because it had been two weeks since you contacted me and I hadn't gotten you your FREE ENGINE YET?
I think you are freaking crazy. I was nothing but nice to you, and you were a jerk-off very nearly from the get-go.
I can't believe you have the nerve to come on here and badmouth me. I wish you were in front of me right now, I'd stomp a mudhole in your old ***.
have a nice ****** day
VERY SINCERELY,
Chris Haynie
P.S. I've still got every e-mail that you sent me, so I'll be happy to quote YOUR OWN WORDS to you if you like.

Bwahhahahha
Theres a reason they're called grease monkeys...
just adding fuel to the fire
Who cares if your truck is $30 G's
If you want real treatment from a dealer, buy a Mercedes or BMW.
The most you'll get out of a Ford dealership is a cup of coffee... if that.
Ford might offer you a wrong radiator, cracked doors, leaky window, engine that pings, or tires that explode.
But, guess what? We bought these trucks and they are ours, along with the problems with FoMoCo and their crappy dealerships/techs. I challenge all of you to own a BMW, Mercedes, or other fine import and you will see what customer service is all about. No, I do not own one of these cars but two of my friends do and I was amazed to see how **** poor Ford is in comparison.
Just venting. Sick of bickering. Bye

Superfords,
This ain't got nuttin to do with you.. You didn't throw the stones on this one.. even though you're making a lot of asumptions about a vehicle that you never looked at anyway. I'm over the original fracous. It looks as if you're trying to start a new one. No laundry on my part has been aired between us.. It should stay that way. My reply is to the individual who said all SVT owners are dumb a$$es. Loose the chip dipstick.
have a nice day,
later...

Some of you say we should not mind techs ragging our trucks. Well your wrong. When I went to look at the L that I ended up buying, it was the first one I had ever seen. I said I would like to test drive it and was told "you only get to drive it AFTER you buy it". So I spend $30,000.00 before I get to drive it. Then some tech (dumbass or not) is going to get to take it out for a test rag? I don't think so. I have nothing against auto techs ( I was one for five years) but no one is driving my truck unless I'm in it. One of my buddies that bought a 99 a few months before I did took his in for the intercooler and when he picked it up it had 158 miles on it over the weekend! I guess Ford Tec would think that was ok. He's just one of the FEW dumbass techs that is jealous because he does not own a Lightning. I let my 16 year old son drive mine to his prom, but if a tech wants to drive one he can do like I did and buy one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
