Spiro
Thanks for the pics, looks like your camera did a awsome job, and now we all know what you and some of the other guys online here look like.

I wish I could have been there but my truck was still on the truck from Canada at the time.It looks like you all had a great time, I will have to make one of the events later this summer.

If you all want to let off steam (whine, gripe or what word you want to use), do it privately, Hint hint (e-mail). Any message posted on this board is everybodys concern, that is the whole idea behind a public message board.

Enough, Enough said let just all get along like back at the beginning of 1999 when we were a bunch of go-happy lucky guys. Back then everybody felt so fortunate to have such a elite piece of machinery.

HANKFAN, Yes I'm still living but after today I'll have to pray twice, I was headed to a basketball tournament today, going about 80 MPH when the rear passenger tire blewout, it was totally disengrated by the time I got the Bolt off the road. No damage to the rim but I think I might have a new seat stain to clean up (LOL). Well that was money well spent for you and me, I just get satisfaction from all the poistive replies about how my truck turned out after being totalled. and the bonus is I have not had any payments since March 2000.

Stay tuned,
Terry

I haven't gotten my copy yet, but looking at Spiros pictures, I noticed that the caption for the article is "We tagges along at the JDM Lightning shootout and found some serious thunder". Of course JDM deserves to be there, but this event was a joint effort between JDM and the SVTPerformance site. Was this mentioned at all in the article? I think that would be a major douche job if they weren't mentioned, since they did all the promotion for the event.

"All this bickering, whining and I don't know any of the PMS (PSP)guys (LOL) but just by your persona I would never put you on the front page of any magazine, except maybe MAD. I mean what the hell is Spiro going off on Hankfan without even reading the magazine article."

Assman (Terry)- Why don't you take your own advice about not using these boards to "whine, gripe....." You nor I know the history between Spiro & Hankfan, and the way I see it, it is none of our business. This board is useful due to people like Spiro and Sal (PSP)- It seems to me that they are some of the most knowledgeable, helpful people on this board. And... My money is on Spiro if Hankfan is willing to race at the MM&FF Lightning shoot out (See Spiro's challenge above).

Spiro, If and when I get my copy in the mail, I will be shopping some paint shops to price a copt of Titus's flame job. That way I'll have to keep this truck!

The SVT site did advertise the event but as far as any sort of sponsorship or help orginizing, they were NOT involved. However, the FOUNDER of that website did some things that day that made the sponsor of that event very unhappy. Details of said event will be outlined in my upcoming novel.
