Hey guys,

I'm 31. This is my 2nd Lightning. I had a '94 that I really enjoyed, but I sold it when I bought my '96 Cobra. At the time I couldn't afford to keep it and 2 other cars. Now I'm back in the fold with a white '99.

I'm 33 with a whole lot of fast cars behind me. I really enjoy the 99 Lightings, example the other days my wife's friend was having a yard sale and I loaded up the 99 Lighting with all kinds of junk for the yard sale. After unloading the RED BEAST I had a Mazda
RX-7 pullout with that game look on his face. I gave him no mercy, it was over in about 6 seconds as he faded away in the shadows of the Big Red Beast.

I financed my truck with the FAA credit union
at a unbelivable rate of 5.99 % for 60 months. I did put down 5000.00 down so I have
a very comfortable payment of 479.00 month.

I am a very young 48. Yeah Right! I bought my Lightning in Aug. I had a lot of influence from my 18 year old son. Insurance would have cost him a fortune so I bought it. Problem is I love the truck so much He never gets to drive it.

25 years old, traded in 1 yr. old 5.9 Ram for a Lightning. I work too hard for my age not to have a little fun with my car.

I'm 34 and, having owned a Lightning since June of "94 am what I consider to be a loyal Lightning owner. Before purchasing my '94 I was a tried and true chevy owner. After I purchased my L I wouldn't have given 10 cents for a chevy (my previous favorite" I totalled my '94 in Feb of 2000 (deer ran in front of me) and 9 days later I was at my deater ordering a new L.
Damn these trucks are addictive!!!!!

18 --- I think I am one of the youngest Lightning owners in the land. My silver 2000 L looks great in my high school parking lot... haha!
I wonder what my Lightning will be worth when I am 50 years old and have it completely rebuilt? Hmm... American-Classic in the making?

52 years old, but certainly don't feel that old driving my lightning. Sold my 87 Mustang GT a couple of years ago and found myself needing that feeling of power or speed. My wife says it is my second midlife crisis, but she seems to enjoy driving it when I allow it. Got to give a little, to get a little,if you know what I mean.

Just turned 18 and have a 2001 silver "L" on order. I have a 97 Roush mustang and I am tired of outrunning my friends with it so I figuered get a fast A$$ truck and blow them away with it. Most people here would laugh if you tried to race them in a truck, that is until they get the doors blowed off by it.

19, soon to be 20 next month. First Lightning. Got tired of my 99 Camaro, so I ordered a 2001 after a streak of bad luck trying to get either a 99 or 00.

P.s. Thor, if you want to buy a 95 White GT, I got one for sale. You can add to your collection.

I love this truck. 36 years old and am glad I am finally able to buy something for myself. It's been a long road.
It's kinda funny cause right now I'm sitting in class listening to a NEO brief and online with you guys. cool.

39 - for a few more weeks. I'm not really a truck person, although I've always had a pickup or van along with a car. I always looked at trucks as a necessary evil. The first truck to ever make me rethink my feelings on them was the GMC Syclone, until I found out it didn't have enough load capacity to do me any good. Kinda got excited when the Dakota R/Ts came out. After test driving one, I didn't think it offered enough straight line performance to justify getting rid of my '99 5.4 E250. Then I drove the Lightning. Traded the van in on the spot. The L is the perfect truck for car people who don't like trucks.
