------- A! those were awesome!!! I like shot my big sister's permanent tooth out with one of them BB guns - for real! I wasted a lot of minnows in the creek behind my house too. I was like a good shot or something.

Guys,
I HAD Cragar SS wheels on my 70 Torino GT Convertible! It currently sports Keystone Classics. My Dad has a set of the Magnum 500s that are going on it car as soon as I decide to bring the car South and become interested in the restoration. Also, I had fuzzy dice hanging from my rear view mirror!!! LOL!

I also remember when I was the remote control for the television! Cigarettes cost $.90/pack and gas prices were something I didn't care much about.

Don't even get me started on the clothing issue..

Those two words reminded me. When I was a kid my Dad always kept a couple of used cars in the yard for sale. He once had three '57 Chevys at the same time. 1 red, 1 yellow, & 1 purple. They were all original & spotless. He was asking $500 each but he would haggle.

I liked the sharp spearlike hood ornaments of those days, great for pedestrians. also the speedometers that would change colors the faster you go. my brothers and i would always take a break from the "Battle Royale" going on in the back seat, to watch the color change. had to keep your distance from Dad's right arm. i think he would speed up,to draw us closer. if you hit 80 a buzzer went off. that buzzer was "awesome"

yeah, those were the ultimate jumping bikes, upon impact, the wheelbase would be a foot longer, and when you pedaled them, your feet were about even with your waist. i don't see any neighborhood kids inventing anything around here. we were always trying to slap a briggs-n- stratton on something.

Question

Anyone else have a plastic remote control (wired of course!) robot named Garloo or Garlu? I loved that thing ...it scared the hell out of my sister!
