As for anyone else who doubts JDM's dedication....visit the shop! J3 has driven me to the airport, rental car place more than I can remember, and have always done anything possible to make me and my truck happy!

I would fire that installer right there! My truck is only running 12 volts....maybe 14 peak. What are you running? 120? hahaha. Amps maybe?
Have you ever installed a JDM E-Fan wire harness? It's 3 freakin wires, a monkey could install the damn thing. Having 30amps going thru a thin azz cable is not a good thing. Again, ask JDM WHY THERE NEWER HARNESS IS 3X AS THICK JACKAZZ.

Before you speak have a understanding of the damn kit, it's a 30amp and 40amp fuse with thin wires to connect everything.

Having installed mine myself, I understand it just fine. Maybe mine is the newer kit, but it didn't strike me as being too small. As to the installer comment, I was referring to the terms. we are all running the same voltage, it is the amperage draw that changes. So JDM improved thier product...thats a bad thing how? IF your original one is inferior, ugrade the individual wires...the hard part is done.

What gauge wire are the early ones compared to the later ones? Any other way to tell early vs later? I would hate to do any electrical damage..

Thumbs up again JDM!!, if you have a problem next time, just use the phone. I have always had good dealings when it comes to buying products from JDM, and I buy from everyone. I also appreciate that we have vendors out there still trying to improve and develop products for our Lightning.
