WHAT?
you really need to go read some of the posts in General Discussion.

I'll bring my shovel, you just point where to dig and lets get that oil flowing! It's NOT a majority of people in the lower 48, it is the LOUDIST Environmentalists that are screaming bloody murder. Don't worry next time I see an Environmentalist b!tching, I'll take them out!

My brother just bought a 2000 TDI Jetta that got 48 miles to the gallon. Checked it this week. He paid $9,000 it has like 60,000 miles but still runs like an ape!!! Thinking of one of those myself.

That is the BEST mod you can make....just get something that is a fuel miser and don't try to turn your lightning into one.

Yeah, but I really can't afford it anymore... and I'm moving soon again, maybe getting a townhouse this time rather than an apartment. As much as I love it, it's just not worth it anymore.

man i want to live were you are, 10 dollars fills up your L.
then no wonder your under budget, not like me in ohio costing 83.00 dollars from gas light on - to full.

I feel your pain peeps. I daily drive my L and my wifes DD is an Explorer Sport Trac. Even her ST only gets 16mpg. BUT, I saw the trend early and bought the ultimate fuel economy car from a guy I work with and I am picking up a manual version of the smae car this weekend. What is it? A 3cylinder Geo Metro baby! 50mpg and one of them will be my winter beater too. Im SO glad I cound these 2 cars, and for CHEAP. If you can find one, they are worth it in times like these.
