I disagree. You may be right in the abstract, but you are forgetting who the client is here:

"the only reason he pulled me over was that i peel the tires now why did he charged with reckless driving??? is that part of exhibition of speed?. Im about to contact that motha f---- and ask him why the hell he gave me all this crap, im really mad with this situation. BTW the cop didnt saw anything he just heard the noise of the engine and tires. I was the only person in the road in that time."

I wouldn't let him within 100 feet of the witness chair, much less anywhere near the DA's office.

LOL - Skelton strikes again

Red92 - judges dont hold cops in contempt for writting a ticket they believed to be true at the time of the violation wether the person is innocent or not. In fact - you really have to go pretty far to be held in contempt these days. This isnt hollywood!

Well, I dont know Mike... the officer did quote: gave me all this crap...

Defense Stratagy Recap:

1. It was wet. (so peel was accedent)
2. It was in a corner.
3. It wasnt that bad to deserve this
4. Trucks are lite in the rear (makes them easy to peel tire)
5. I wasnt drinking
6. sweet 16 partys are clean and sober
7. officer did not see fishtail

and then knock it out of the park with this FACT # 8 !!!

8. Ask Judge "How can officer hear tire peel over the blower whine?"

tickets dropped !!

Raoul should be able to relate, the difference would be, he can at least put together a post that makes sense....

Get a lawyer....your history if convicted. There is even the possibility of getting prison time. This is serious my friend. You would have been better off getting busted holding up a liquor store......

This thread is great. The material to work with just never ends. I can't wait to hear what happens when you stand in front of a judge after calling the cop a ***** F-----, and proclaim that you can't control your vehicle.

Yep...your going to the big house, kiss all your loved ones good bye. Be sure to stock up on Vaseline..... . Bubba is just going to love you.

I own a performance vehicle, several in fact and if I do something wrong then I may have to pay the price for it also - just the way the ball bounces.
What do you mean "if I had an ego problem"??? YOU DO! I think you have a jealousy issue also like maybe you wish you could do the things that you believe the Police do and get away with it. The "99%" comment holds true to what I have experienced in my 12 years of law enforcement and your arrogance set me off and showed your dislike of the very people who protect your right to be an a-hole! Thats the end of this pissing contest for me - Im out
I just realized who you are....LOL. Maybe he can give you some details about where the ticket was written. You could then make a call and put in the good word for him... .

One thing that I learned recently is that the ticket you get (paper) is the
first page of a multi part form. After he rips it off, he records all the REST
of the details (including your attitude!) in the part that goes back with him.

This allows a memory jog when he goes to court for your appearance. I was
shocked to find out the details that were recorded on that sheet AFTER he
gave me my copy ...

to re-iterate what everyone else is saying ... You messed up, had fun, and
now need to be a man and take the medicine. (Unless your neighbors
sister-in-law is a asst. prosecuting attorney!) < grin >

Oh, and to further Lee Ann's suggestion:

Best Spell Checker on the Net!

Good Luck !!!

Note, I have not been name throwing in posting my observations/opinions regarding the conduct of police officers. You have thrown out insults rather than just explain your position and leave it at that. In doing so, I think you have demonstrated who the a-hole is. I'm glad you don't work down here. We have enough of your types already.

Not picking on you here, but this stragedy does not seem the best course of action.

And he should have been more cautious. If you know it's wet, don't hit the go pedal as hard.

See above. A wet corner should be even more of flag to not hit the go pedal as hard.

Maybe true, none of us know the true extent to his fishtailing, it may have been a little or he may have started to get sideways before letting off and regaining control. Regardless he still broke the law.

Back to numbers 1 and 2.

Want a cookie? You're not supposed to drink and drive, it's the law. Should everyone who doesn't drink and drive be rewarded for following the law?

Again see above.

Unless I misread or missed a post, he assumed the officer did not see him.

If the blower whine was louder then tire peel he was obviously accelerating to fast for a wet corner.

He had some fun and got caught, IMO the penalty is on the severe side though. Get a lawyer and let them deal with everything.

Your screwed but at least your US driving record will not affect your foriegn license to drive. foriegn drives are just like jersey drivers, the roads are safer without them.

Everything above is fine and dandy, however if you want it to go away……………….

Throw money at it, after all…….. “MONEY IS AVBOVE THE LAW”!!!!!!!!!!!!

“WITH MONEY YOU CAN CHANGE OPINIONS”

See if the Judge that will be hearing you’re case has a favorite charity, or some sort of campaign funds… A good lawyer will be able to investigate this kind of information, you will see how fast a good cop will loose credibility if you dump $$$$ in the right places!!!

You want it to go away?????? Use MONEY as you’re tool!!!!!

It staggers the imagination that anyone actually believes this kind of crap.

Me: "Psstt. . . Judge. I know that you are active in the Save the Northern Ferret Foundation. My client just contributed $10,000. Can you give him a break? Maybe disregard the cop's testimony?"

Judge: "Mr. Skelton, I've known you since you first started practicing. So I'm going to forget the egregious ethical breaches you just committed. But if you ever even think about attempting to improperly influence my decision again, I will turn you over to the DA and the state bar. And if you do decide to try again, make sure that it's a big chunk of cold, hard cash that you are offering -- I'm not about to risk losing my job and reputation unless the stakes are much higher, you f*cking idiot."

Not to be offesive, but it sounds like you're not old enough to drive a truck with this much power.

Time to get something more appropriate:
