I don't have to walk anything, I just wanna see JL go down, I'm about tired of hearing about how much everyone wants to be like JL....I can't wait to see him dethroned personally.

well maybe its because im a diehard Lightning lover that i want to see a Lightning at the top of the throne.. doesnt matter WHO'S driving it..

 

I'm holding my breath to see a turbo lightning make it down the track, but Parish has been at it for a while.

If you really take a look though, he's tipping the scales heavier than a stock Lightning, esp with 4wd. Stock heads on a 408, and a turbo with a baby 100 dry shot.

If you step back and take a look at JL's setup it's alot more extreme, I just like to ruffle feathers and make people see that sometimes it's not all about a number and other people have other interests in trucks.

 

i think im with almost everyone in giving parish a HUGE thumbs up on the kick@$$ Chevy BUT.. then my competiveness kicks in and i say screw it.. JL's kickin some serious butt and Parish has no chance..

I agree 100% with what your saying usaf eagle! You can say,"I can do this and he can't do that", back and forth all day. But when parish said watch your back, that means he is coming for JL later on, because he knows he doesn't have enough to 'BRING IT' yet! Maybe after he does more things to his truck that some of you guy's are downing JL's truck for having, he may have a better chance. And just like usaf said to,"as long as it's a LIGHTNING on top I don't give a rat's A$$ who's driving it!! That's what it means to be loyall to what you drive!

The Truck went a 1.79, and was on a 100 DRY shot. It's not like anyone is saying he has to rebuild the truck.

what is about JL's truck that you dislike so much? I can understand your point about liking to ruffle feathers, but you seem to have a personal problem with JLP. I dont give a hoot one way or the other, just curious what soap gossip I missed.

That Chebby is nasty as hell, good for this Parrish guy. I think its great he has chosen a unique platform to modify to the extreme. I was more impressed with what he did before this new motor though.

BS! I love my Lightning and wouldn't trade it for a thing in the world, but I would never do to it some of the things that have been done to many of the other trucks here. There will ALWAYS be someone out there faster, you just have to deal with it! -Mat-

 

I thought it was funny how waveblaster was wanting the Chevy to beat JL, and he drives a Lightning. I was just wondering why if you had a Lightning you would want to see one lose a race? Whenever I see a Lightning going up against someone, i'm wanting the 'L' to win. But if I lose a race, or if another Lightning gets beat BIG DEAL, there's alote more things in life to lose sleep over, and it sure isn't who's truck is faster! I use my vehicles as my way to have fun and joke around with my friends, some people take it farther and are more serious than others and that's O.K. to. And I wouldn't do some things to my truck others have done to theres either, but thats what makes owning a Lightning fun, you can come on here and see what ideas other people have come up with. That's how you know if you like something or not.Heck, if everyones Lightnings were all alike that would get boring pretty quick. I think parish's truck is bad azz, it's one heck of a sleeper. I would love to see them go at it once they both finish there trucks,if there is such a thing! You can't get any better than the old Ford v/s Chevy.The saying there is alway's someone out there that is faster is true, it's whoever is willing to put up the most $$$$ that's usually who is faster.
