"GRRR!! 200 miles on my KB and its done....
<RANT ON>

Well im a little aggrevated at the moment

I made a few boost runs to 20psi with my NEW KB tonight while on my way home and when I got in my driveway I hear a "clack clack clack" I first thought is was rod knocking as it was very loud and changed with RPM so I took the blower belt off and sure enough the motor sounds perfectly normal.

The KB's oil level is perfect I followed there instructions to the T, and I have only driven the thing like 200 miles. What should I expect for 3 grand anyways. Im so pissed right now I want slap the eaton back on it and just spray the **** out of it to run the number.

<RANT OFF>

Bob"

And then we have this post made on 4/07:

"Well I received my KB back last night from KB. It was installed useing the proper torque specs (20ft lbs). I have driven it about 30 miles today to work and to lunch and so far its been fine.

Thanks to Mr. Bell for responding to this, I currently have an airraid box that seals itself to the hood when closed and draws air from the fender hole only. I bought this specidically because of the KB's instructions before I installed it.

I still do not know why nor was I offered an explanation of what caused my KB to have a problem. I hope that it lasts for a good bit of time because the truck is a monster with it on. I love the blower but I am concerned about the reliability issue at this point.

Bob"

Let's see now.....that would be....14 days...hmmmmm 2 weeks. Pretty good math for a TEXAS feller, don't ya think...LMAO.

Alright; WTF is your gripe in the deal then? I met you last year in Atlanta; you seemed like an alright guy. Something **** you off?

All I stated was how long it took mine! I have tracking proof it arrived at KB on a Friday AM; it was there the whole following week untouched. The week after that they shipped it out on a Tuesday. When I called first of the week it didn't get touch they said it would be later that week becuase there were 3 blowers ahead of mine for service. Add in I paid for 3 day air hoping to have it back soon. And add in there ground shipping back to me.

You guys crack me the fock up.....Yeah and it could have taken 5 years if it was lost on an island with Tom Hanks....LMAO.

How you ship it is not a reflection of the egg he through. Casey made an attempt to make out like KB would just screw around for a month to get it back to you.

Geeze...I guess if you guys aren't bitching, you just don't feel like life is good.

I stated a fact; you are the one that started the bitchin

Re-read my post; nothing but a fact. I said they would take care of it, but it would take a while. For me that was a month.

No Casey.........I am not pissed off..... I just don't agree with the month long assessment.

Don't get all sensitive on me. I always thought you Florida fellers could duke it out with the best of them...... .

If he read the thread, and is friends with Bob....then he really did have an agenda. I was trying not to call him a liar...but maybe you can clear it all up...NOOB... .
Hopefully they cleared it all up for you there...Seeing how they had all the facts and you did'nt I dont believe there was an agenda, just facts being stated. I believe all partys are satisfied at this point in time.

Dont worry you were just 1 fact short....
They received my blower on 3/29/2005 due to a weekend but it took them 5 days to repair it. I had it picked up on 4/4/2005 and had it 2nd day air back to me. KB will only ship ground to return warranty-repaired superchargers; this is there policy as stated on the web site. In my situation my truck could have been easily down from 3/24/2005 to this week sometime (27 – 30 days if your counting) if I had not footed the bill for the express service both ways to have my supercharger repaired under warranty.
Sincerely,
Noob

I am not crying about it at all, I am just stating the what my experiences were with the time frames involved to repair my blower.

Take for what its worth, if anything at all
