Actually, low class is you not doing your job.

You take 5 minutes out of your busy schedule and make a weekly update post for those interested in spending upwards of 3500 with REM on this blower, then you may not have to read threads with the title such as this one. Its not a hijack if its not your thread dude.

Atleast JL is displaying available product, even if that product has reliability issues.

agreed 100% and there really aren't many KB's with issues, just some outspoken victims of a bad blower... and I don't blame those guys for being outspoken, these new blowers are a lot of money...

Rocks

I'm pretty sure that the GT-500 Cobra will have a Whipple under the hood. I wonder how much of a priority an up-coming Ford commitment has over an aftermarket application? Especially with Lysholm holding things up.

why doesn't everyone just stop crying? If you want a whipple then wait for it, patience, I've been waiting since they announced they were taking pre-orders (which by the way required giving NO money) If you want a KB then go order one!
Its not always the company's fault if a shipment does not come in on time, anyone who has any experience in retail knows that. They probably are getting the same "2week" crap from their supplier, If you really wanted a whipple then you would wait for it, If you don't want to wait theres other options, but stop crying.

The developer of the works system deserves all the credit... I repeat screw whipple and their empty promises.
No one deserves any "credit" -- both Whipple and Works just fabricated an intake manifold to adapt the Lyscholm to a 5.4. It's not rocket science.

But let's ease up on Whipple a little, okay? If Whipple can't get the parts from its suppliers, there is nothing that it can do. I mean, GD, we are not talking AIDS medicine or helicopter parts to support the war effort. It's a supercharger upgrade for a stupid truck. Get over it.

My guess holding that blower has something to do with what is right above and below that Whipple in that picture...

Here's my issue of why I personally won't buy one. I've heard of several people who are on their third blower, and while it's great that they are replacing them, I respect that, if this is truly a performance product you shouldn't have to.

If there are 15 failed blowers on this board that is WAY too many. 1-5 MAY be acceptable.

If planes were as successful as KB's there would be alot more crash victims. I think the only reason KB gets away with it is for so long they were the only sheriff in town, but hopefully that will be changing in the future. I think they work great when they work, but I've heard too many horror stories to feel comfortable shelling out 3 grand.
I think KB says not to overspin the blower past 18k rpm for a reason. Just like you can't pulley your truck then cry when it throws a rod. I know some KB's have seized without over turning, but not many. Most of the people going through KB's are over revving them. So by saying 15 failed blowers on this board makes them bad then I guess Lightnings themselves suck too, since there are way more blown up trucks on here from misuse. Don't get me wrong, I want the whipple to get here. the more options the better. I just dont' think all these two week comments are right. Don't say anything til you have a tracking # of your supposed missing compressors.
