had to have the truck towed for the 2nd time tonight
friggin tranny fuse kept blowing...every 100 feet or so...then i replaced it one time and it ran fine for about 20 min or so...the the fuse for the PCM blew!! the truck shut off right on the highway...so i pulled over changed that fuse...got back in the truck and the tranny fuse blew again...replaced that fuse 6 times and evertime i would put it into Drive it would blow...so i had it towed (2nd time now) to the Ford dealer...2,000 worth of mods were just spent on the truck and i cant even enjoy them : ( sucks...will keep you guys posted......

As sick just said, did you do Long Tube Headers, or Exhaust work recently ??? If you did, it's a very very common problem.
I hope so for your sake Bro
"if" your not aware of the problem, it is that the 02 Sensor wires
are too close (or touching) the Exhuast (and or fused together), (or rubbing on the heat sheild). That causes the Transmission Fuse to blow, usually a blinking OD light, and I believe many reported the Transmission going into "Limp Mod"
Tons of post on it.
EDIT just found one

Rob- yup thats exactly what i have been told by some other people..i just did the long tube install last week, along with a 75 shot of ZEX : ) .....i had the truck towed to ford and they called me today and said..they have no idea whats wrong with it..and they dont want to mess with it...they also said its throwing 22 diffrent codes...im taking it to another shop tomarrow..so we can pull the 02's out and insulate them and try and tack them up as far away from everyhitng possible.....keep you guys posted
best of luck.... lemme know what you end up insulating that ***** with....i'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before i climb under the truck for 8 hours....i would like to know the best place to keep those wire away from the pipes as the fuse ***** gets old

yeah dude...its been very hard...i wanna drive the truck so bad and hear that beast! sounds soo good! but i cant....im gunna jack it up in my gargae tonight and check it out....let you guys know...
Make sure the o2 wires that run near the passenger side LT's are not melted and touching.
I've seen a few times were people have thought they moved those wires far enough out of the way but didn't.

I had kind of a similar problem when I put on my midpipes and hiflow cats. One of the O2 sensor wires got damaged and kept shorting out on the heat sheild every time I would apply the slightest amount of pressure on the gas pedal. New sensor and wire, trimmed the heat sheild and no more problem.
