And that is the only one in existance. Kenne Bell has been promising to release a kit for close to a year now........... they are no closer now than they were then. However, that is typical Kenne Bell.

BTW, noone has actually ever seen that truck run. The hp quote is really easy to come by, just take 345x150%.

Oh, I do have a login, it is just a PITA to switch it over............ and back......... especially when my husband posts alot more than me. It is 94LightningGal. That was all you could say in response to my post???

i cant wait to see the 2006 L and what they are going to run. the dodge will make ford make the lightning better. but the price of these trucks is making them out of reach for the average joe. heck you can buy a 99-00 for well under 20grand and spend 2grand and run low 12's. i think are lightnings arent going to drop a whole lot more in value considering you need 50 grand if you consider sales tax for a new dodge. the dodge is a nice truck but i think lightnings are far better value. plus they look better

Well, that would explain the fact filled dissertation. It may be a PITA but 94LightningGal commands more respect than "so and so's wife", at least in this camp. I have found your posts to contain more gearhead info than most guys. Keep it up.

FYI:

You're all still arguing a point that the troll started to stir the pot.... and he's long gone on this thread

This whole argument comes down to who is faster. It's all about who spends the most $.

You can make a 12 sec 1gen Eclipse/Talon for a budget of 10k, including buying the car...

You can make a 12sec truck with an older F150, and a budget of 15k....etc, etc, etc...

This argument is going nowhere....

I like the srt-10, it is a viper for sakes. who wouldnt want one of those? I love my l, I know what the possibilities are. I absolutley hate the seats, who only puts a few patches of leather down on an expensive vehicle. Overall i love the l, it is a great truck with many options available.

On and on....

This is a LIGHTNING forum. I'm sure the Dodge is nice but you're in the wrong forum. It's great that Dodge finally got it together after how many years of nothing. Maybe Chevy will stick that Vette engine in a truck now. I would watch Toyota. They might get frisky too. Good luck with your Dodge truck. Now off to the SR10 forums with ya.
Everyone's reign of terror ends. Time for new blood. Wait 'til Gen IV hits the streets. Then I'm not so sure 10 cylinders will be enough.
Cya, V10. Good luck.

only reason I bought my Lightning is that it had 3000 miles and I paid $17k. couldn't pass up a deal like that.

so I didn't buy it because I liked it, I bought it to turn around and sell it and mae a few $$$.
Then I drove it.
but Now I won't sell it for any reason.

Question

HI!... O.K, SATURDAY is gone. So did this kid with the SRT-10 show up at the street races or what? What happened? Did he puss out?

P.S : Who needs a LIGHTNING to beat a HEMI truck? I smoke the HEMI -ROID trucks all day with my N/A 5.4 F-150. HEMI = biatch.

I have yet to see an srt-10 here. At least the dodge owners around here are cool. Non of them think their hemi ram can outrun the L. I enjoy living in a place where the ford/chevy/dodge guys just pick on the moron ricers and not each other.

If you really ran a 12.9, then props to you. Maybe one day an srt-10 can claim a 10 second run like some of the lightnings here have done.

LOL, thanks............ I think???

Actually, on most of the forums, people pretty much ignore my posts............... so I really don't think my login commands respect at all. I think alot of guys just see "gal" in my login and skip over to the next post. After all, what the hell can a girl know about cars.

Frankly, I just get tired of all of these "enthusiasts" who like to pull "facts" out of their **** orifices. They should actually look things up, if they don't know them. That way they don't look stupid.

See, this is what happens when you work out of your house............ and things are slow (mortgage loan officer in a new area). You get to spend way too much time on way too many forums. Not this weekend though, between the on-the-water boat show (yes, we are going to buy a boat) Saturday, and the AZ Lightning club BBQ today, this is my first time on the computer this weekend. It's nice to have a life every so often.
