Sorry, you are right ...about the country thing maybe. But not about the attitude. Every post I have read from this person is nothing but bitching and foul language. That is uncalled for IMO.

Ground effects were touching and makind a squeeking sound off the lot but I fixed it shortly after I got home and figured out what it was...otherwise it works like a charm.

Yeah I've got almost 10k miles since May and he only problem I've had is a bad radio and the clunk, which I need to get fixed. Other than a rattle I can't find everything has been great.

I had an '01 and now I have an '03. I have had the same problems in both (cracked foglights). It only took me 2 weeks to get cracks in my '03, but other than that it is a little slower in the 1/4 mile than my stock '01, 13.6 vs 13.7. I did have a '93 L and the only problem was the EGR valve was sticking....... at 86000 miles.

no problems to speak of with mine yet. except it came from ford with the wrong dipstick tube in the tranny, instructing me to add mercon 5.

but nothing's broken that I can think of.

I'm at 11,000 + miles!

later,
chris

Mine has the same stick. I only have 1500 miles on the L so I haven't been faced with tranny fluid yet.

I guess I better RTFM.

Zero challenges with my '03 out of the factory. I few minor paint flaws that the dealership solved in the first week. No creaks, sqweaks or annoying noises - solid as a rock, oh wait, I mean "built ford tough"

I had a stalling challenge, but that was related to the aftermarket chip, now solved, too.

I have read that before. Is it just defective fogs from the factory and then they replace them at the dealer with another factory set or do they replace them with aftermarket?

Sweet looking trucks from all. I am debating, IF I am able to get one, between the Sonic Blue, or Dark Shadow Gray. The gray is a metallic paint finish correct? Is the blue a metallic paint finish as well?

Well, I have an 02. And there is nothing wrong with it besides a seat repair that they took care of very fast on warr. Besides that its been a great truck no problems, no blown plugs, no noises of any kind, no frontend creeks . For an 02 that seams to make everyone complain I think I must of got a good one. So far going strong at 18000 miles

Thanks for listening

Krueger

15,000 miles on my 03 since I bought it in April, a couple minor cosmetic issues that were resolved perfectly... other than that its been flawless... well except that the rear tires seem to wear rather quickly... lol

Yes, the DSG is a metallic finish.
