Bought 03 in Sept. Only problem drove me nuts.... a rattle. There was a screw floating around under heater and when I turned a corner it would roll. Drove me nuts, but I fixed it. Other than that truck is trouble free at 7000 miles.
I've had mine since January and here's my list of problems:
1. Someone put a 6lb pulley, FTVB, chip and FASTair system
on when I wasn't looking.
2. The truck makes an awfully loud whining sound when you
mash the pedal.
3. The tires tend to spin very easily.
4. Stereo, what stereo ??
That's about it so far

Maxtorque you stupid *****,
Below is from another post of you showing you know it all. I' am convinced you don' t know your *** from a hole in the ground.
I see Kyle is still banned, goes to show how smart your friends are.... . Telling Doug to F-off was not very smart. LOL
I might be able to help if you give us all the details. Electrical problems can sometimes be a bear and like the dealer said you might have to resort to going back to the way it was before you had the problem. Often times it's a matter of elimination to track down an electrical problem.
When the deck was installed
When was the first time the problem occured and the symptoms
What was the dealer diagnosis and what did they do to correct it
Any other accessories installed and when (alarm, remote start, amps, subs, lights etc)
2nd trip to dealer, what are the details
and what are the details on the 3rd time
what did CC do to diagnose the problem
Did you go to two different dealers and why? Is this the 3rd dealer now that you have gone to?
By filling in the details and the time frames it will be much easier to offer some help over the internet. I've done a lot of work with installations and I worked at my dad's auto repair shop for a few years while going to school. Good luck and hopefully this can be resolved.
It appears that your alternator is putting out a good charge, but your symptoms sound like a loose wire or a bad connection somewhere.

No kidding, no dealers let anyone test drive the Lightning? I mean if they are qualified to buy, but yet to decide?

Oh, I will be VERY glad, happy and EXCITED if I do. Problem is I will need some serious duct tape for below the waist, so when I walk around I won't look funny...
