I'm neither. But I am possessed of reasonable deductive reasoning capabilities, and armed with many years of driving and observing others drive, which makes me qualified to opine that the probability of an incident occurring under the circumstances of the present case is exceedingly small.

Does "this kind of thing" happen? Of course. And lightning strikes people walking outside. Maybe one or two a week even. But it's never struck me or anyone I know. And there are 270 million people in the U.S. On that basis alone, I am qualified to opine that the chance of any given individual being struck is statistically insignificant.

At least someone drives their truck hard. Here is a little 140+ pic with the rpm @4500. I also did a run on the radar at night the speedo is 3mph fast. I did have it over 5200rpm in top gear which is around 160+mph. But it did BDFU that time 6 rods and pistons gone. Mods were a 2# pulley and road racing tune, guess the tune was a little off. It is still slow compared to 200mph at night in the Z06.

I had been waiting for that stock POS engine to blow since I bought the truck. It actually lasted 24K! Now I have a 600hp JDM long block so I can go even faster longer Of course I have about 10K in suspension, and about 18K in the drive train
. Speed without the suspension and brakes is not so smart. A true road racing brick.

Yeah stock rods SUCK!, stock 2001 J1 code trannies suck, plug chucking sucks, most stock crap in the L sucks, lol. I have just about replaced everything Ford now I just installed a filter kit and started it without the MAF plugged in and didn't clear the code until the next day. It was a minor stored code nothing mechanical. I tell you this, the SES light never came on when I fragged the engine, stupid computer.

Yes, we seem to have a poser among us. SVT Salesman has dissappeared from the scene. I wonder how his buddy, Bluelightning, can explain that this person, SVT Salesman (aka James Teed), doesn't exist at Metro Ford. I hate bullchit!
