Ride with rancho bars?
Ride with rancho bars?
There is another thread that has me worried. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=120493
I just ordered a set of bars from LFP last week. I do not drag race. I only do road course events. I want the best rear traction device I can buy for the twisties! By the way, my truck has the Roush lowering kit and the JDM complete exhaust.....can the Metco lower even be installed on this application?
In the other thread I noticed Rob G is running the Metco lower. Shouldn't this tell me something since he works for JDM who pushes the Rancho type?
Thanks,
Jerry

Bars
I have the racho style bars from Jim. Plenty of clearance with the silver bullet exhaust. No ride difference except it got rid of the annoying wheel hop i'd get on the street, which is what i wanted.

Worked there.
The reason I swapped out the JDM bars on my Lightning for the Metco's was simply a clearence issue with my cat-back. That truck was pretty low if some of you remember and the Metco's provided more exhaust clearance for me ( I did make custom brackets for the aftermarket hangers though ).
Since then I have grown to really like the Metco bars and I use a set on my Harley truck. The adjustability of those bars is a big plus in my book

Sorry, I thought Rob worked for JDM. I guess the Metco's are better.
Nathan,
Call me (512-65-764) or e-mail me (JJordan@picofab.com) on Monday. I want to know how the install went. I may cancel my LFP order.

I've been using JDM Rancho T-bars for a couple of years now, zero problems with the ride, no adjustments needed, and 1.63 short times. I think that these and the ones from JLP and LFP probably do the same thing-work great!!!!! John H.
