KB Big Mouth upper plenums

When are these KB big mouth plenums supposed to be coming out...I heard that the plenums will be 1.25 times the size of the Works 140s. And will accomodate a bigger t-body.....

Yea, they need that intake. One of our local guys tried to get it from Jim and he said no dice on the product.. That was back in May.

Maybe it will change. There's always the possibility of getting Accufab or Billetflow to make one. Theres enough KB power L's out here now. Start a post and get one of them to head over to Accufab and talk to John. Not sure where Billet Flow is but im almost postive they are not in Cali.

Are you willing to bet $$ on that one?

Unlike the KB's, the Works 140 takes off over 20 psi and you dont believe me, you soon will see.

And they must be on the way to some customers. REM called me yesterday and said that they had one for me...I put my name on the waiting list about a year ago...If anything else that is sign of good business practice.

dont even compare a KB to a works. i seriously doubt the KB could even take a 112 on the street.

Just where do you come up with these numbers, and what is the significance? You could probably spin a stock 112 to 30 pounds (for a moment). Pounds of boost isn't everything. It's a very narrow view of producing power.

Exactly

Works moves a larger volume of air for each and every pound of boost. Its does it more efficiently to boot.

PS....I'm on my 3rd design upper manifold for my KB. Right now I have a casting/aluminum sheet weldament fitted to a large billet piece. And....no I'm not going to show you "this one"

I beg to differ on this one. As the owner of both the works 112 and a KB, all I can say is that the difference was 82 HP and 104 lbs/Tq using the same combo and the same amount of boost.

oh and the only time the Works pulled more than the KB was at about 3300rpm for a total 50-100 rpm and than it was way under the curve of the KB
