I wouldn't even debate it. We'll know the power difference as soon as they are released. Maybe we can schedule a Works vs. KB Lightning showdown. I just hope the KB trucks don't have too many miles on them by then. Some of the KB guys have been racking up the miles in the past 9 to 10 months.

Absolutely, Mr Freeze....I talked to KB yesterday and the big mouth plenum will be released in about 5 months..it has been shelved temporarily....I will be notified asap as soon as it is available and get one.....I am a firm believer in the short runner plenum principle...I experimented with runner lengths on a few race motors I had and found that the shorter inlet works best unless you have a huge stall in your converter 3500 plus....Look at the Kobelco blower setups making 2500 hp...they only have a 1/2 inch spacer going into thier rotor packs......Everyone wants to bash the KB for some reason....it isnt bout that....its about initiating an unbiased approach to evaluate both blowers....and to level the playing field....lets get a big mouth, 170mm plenum on the KB and run em both at the same boost and mod levels...

I beg to differ on this one. As the owner of both the works 112 and a KB, all I can say is that the difference was 82 HP and 104 lbs/Tq using the same combo and the same amount of boost.

oh and the only time the Works pulled more than the KB was at about 3300rpm for a total 50-100 rpm and than it was way under the curve of the KB
Absolutely.....Mondo1 owned a 112 for about a week and pulled it off and sold it after feeling no noticeable difference over his stock Eaton.....I gave him a ride in my truck yesterday with a 17# of boost KB , which is not tuned yet by the way, and when I asked him to give me a seat of the pants comparison...he said.."slow the **** down I dont want to die today"..........The proof is in the pudding , gentlemen.....

Where you stop with it will be determined by something else entirely (fuel, how big a hole you would like in your block, how much it costs to clean up oil off a freeway etc etc). But the 112 vs Kb? please.

okay here it goes, one your either a newby or you got banned, but learn how to quote.

two, i have yet to see one descent KB dyno sheet on a stock engine, all of you that make the big numbers are on built blocks running tons of boost with cams and all that stuff.
some of you must feel guilty you wasted 3k on the cheapest supercharger upgrade out there because like i say i havent seen any before and after numbers.

three, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A KB MAKE 600+ LBFT ON 14 PSI.

four, the quality of the works easily passes the KB so do the math.

five i seriously doubt you gained 84 hp by taking the works 112 off and just adding the KB at the same boost, wheres my boat i need it after hearing that.

blow me 318 grow the FUkc up already, i guess we know who sits on there @$$ wanting to run there mouth all day.

I just installed my works 112 this afternoon. Man, it's awesome! It puts the KB to shame. I wish I hadn't wasted that $3K on the KB blower.

[sarcastic mode off]

I'm open to seeing real time slips and dyno runs of people with the works 112 blower. I'd also like to know the other mods. Come on this blower has been out for around a year already and I have seen no proof to back up your claim...

It isn't out yet, but I'm thinking KB only. The mouth on the KB is twice as big as the stock eaton. They use an adapter plate to make it match with the stock upper intake.

So like, how much is this intake going to be..

Albeit it puts you in Works 140 price territory and you would be an idiot to pass on the Works at that point. Its your hard earn cash... or.. Silver Spoon in hand. However you have it.

big mouth plenums are for the big mouth guys running KB's.
I have news for you guys, look at it this way, whipple vs. kenne bell. the kenne bell may be on top for now because its really the only one out and its the cheapest, but get this the kb is not going to be on top forever. hell the magnum powers will probaly put that sum bithc to shame.
easter when i get home tonight ill post several dynos of a 112,
jonathan please please please dont buy an oil spewing kenne bell.

just because im curious but why do you guys get so hostal when someone says there is another supercharger better than the kb.
we should all just get together with a couple of kegs, women, and dyno the **** out of these things and let this horse rest.
