What they are talking about is the ability of the pistons/rods to handle the H.P. needed to get in the 10's with a stock engine build.

There is some speculation that the rods in the 1999 and 2000 could handle more H.P. than the 2001 and 2002. The 2003's are still an unkown...but I'll let you know what happens...I'm pushing mine to the 10's or bust...LOL.

Thanx for that info, I got rid of the ool after doing the upgrade to intercooler and wished I'd waited for 03 with the three valves and more plug threads now. maybe Ford will buck up and give us the new Heads
