I suppose I shouldn't have posted about JL's burnt valve either.

Point is you had engine problems last year. JL burned a valve.

You sure are self-righteous. You get done blasting JL on another thread about blowing up several motors last year and here you are twisting my words to make me look bad. Damn Sal, get a life.

One simple comment that explains itself.

Every forum you go into, you start *****.Plain and simple.

No,Im not mad because you never brought me a basket on easter

I cannot remember the last time Sal started arguments on here.He usually replys with knowledge and unbiased opinion. He is one of the most honest tuners on here.Dont bash him.If you notice,He doesnt not start bitchin when he disagrees.Everybody has opinions but some people like to argue like YOU........and me

No I have never bought anything from sal except for a pully over 2 years ago.......

And Ive delt with Johnny Lightning and sal and they are the nicest tuners .Both are HONEST and dont like to get caught up in this crap.

I'm not self righteous, what I am, is sick of people like you. You are a miserable person, who starts all sorts of crap, never has anything nice to say, replies to people asking for help with sarcastic remarks, and has zero to contribute to this forum. Then when YOU need help, you act all nice, until the next opportunity comes up for you to rip on someone. You didn't used to be like this, but now you are. Maybe you should be banned like in that other thread.

Your problem seems to be that you see nothing wrong with anything you post, no matter what others tell you, and no matter how wrong you are proven. You just keep the crap going and going, like some demented Energizer bunny.

You said I had engine problems with the Works 112. This is not an engine problem thread, this is a blower thread. You said JL burned a valve. So what? Are you saying that JL burned a valve because of the KB? If not, then there was also no reason for that statement in this thread either. Nobody twisted your words. Your words mean exaclty what they say. You're just wrong. But you'll never see that, so it's just a never ending battle with you.

Damn Sal you ripped him.. Really though the only thing KB has to lose in a contest like this is sales Right now I would think MOST people especially ones that are not on the internet think the KB is the way to go for ultimate blower gains...That could be true or false in reality. It would be nice to see this event happen but my bet is it won't..

Take it easy on him Sal...........he did say you had a nice hood on your truck..........

Be nice if some members would just stick to the facts and attempt to constructively contribute, rather than create turmoil just for the sake of increasing thier post count...........

I never have anything nice to say? Read all of my posts. You have more negative crap on your posts than I do. What do you call the out and out lying about JL's engine?

Like I said before you had engine problems last year with the works installed. It isn't my fault, and it may have been due to the boost or nitrous you were running. I don't know that it had anything to do with that blower, but it is a fact you had engine problems last year while the works blower was installed on your truck. Do you want me to say it again. You had engine problems while the works blower was installed on your truck. You said it yourself. I never claimed that the works caused the problems. Search my posts.

If I know an answer to a question I'll try to answer. So yes I do contribute some to this board.
If you are still mad at me for posting your pathetic times at NMRA finals where you couldn't even break out of the 13's, don't be. It wasn't my fault.

At least I'm not a tuner bitch who has their head up their favorite tuners a$$. I don't get deals from anyone and because of that I think I can look at things impartially.

Since it appears that many people want me banned I'll step out as of now and won't post anymore. Good Luck to all.

What a weiner................I always knew he was a bit of a boner, but I told myself I was going to play nice from now on........but calling any of us "tuner bitches" kinda rubs me wrong.

With that said, can I please shovel snow for you Sal, pretty please?

I've got an idea to settle this

Hope I didn't miss a previous offer like this, but my DSL has been dead for a few days.

I' will be getting a Works 140 blower in a while. There must be a few Keene Bell blowers in Southern California by now.

I'll run my works 140 against a K-B truck on both a dyno and on the track. Truck weights will be balanced for the track. The works 140 will be tuned by PSP and the K-B by JL or whomever. Then I will swap my Works off my truck for the latest K-B off the other, and vice vera. Let PSP tune that truck and JL or someone tune mine.

No one gets a free blower. And we get a true head to head test.

WE can dyno them and then race them on the track with independent dyno techs and drivers.

Now will that close this puppy out once and for all???

I'll pay for my share to get this done. Any K-B owners in So-Cal up for this? Sal? JL?

Douglas

Big, still a lot more trouble than I think you realize. Switching, and swaping, and getting tuned by PSP and JL (mail, which will take a week atleast for the chips to be returned).

Getting the 140 wasn't a problem. It was getting ahold of KB or JL so we could have a representative bring down a newer KB to the testing. Doesn't have to be my truck(besides the fact that I've been doing all the leg work). But I am pretty damn stock except straight pipes. And NO one would be getting a free blower in my test. WORKS and KB bring their stuff down, we do the test on the dyno, if they want to continue to a track fine, and then they take their stuff back. I just can't see why KB wouldn't/couldn't do this test, unless either one of the 8 guys that work at Kenne/Bell Superchargers hasn't gotten any of my messages, or their not sure of their product against the 140.

You would of thought at JL would have giving some kind of answer by now...Either yes/no or I'll find out. Maybe eventually he will. But like I said a few pages back I think KB will NOT go for it...Time will tell..See ya

Pipe Dream

It aint gonna happen guys.

I am sure that some of you will bash JL for not replying or even saying yes to this idea, but you have to understand that he is selling all the KB's that he can get his hands on and neither KB or JL have one laying around for just testing purposes, and even if they did they would then have to sell the tested unit as a used unit and get less $$ for it.

Just wait until this racing season and the NMRA events, then you will see who has the most consistantly fast Lightning without NOS.

What is funny is that nobody has even run close to Charlie(11.04), or Eric's(11.40) times with a works blower without nitrous, and their best times were the very first and only time at the track with their new KB.

Any works powered trucks running good numbers? and I dont mean on a dyno.

That's because niether of the two Works 140 powered trucks have hit the track yet. Come on now, it doesn't take a friggen rocket scientist to see that. That's just stupid logic. If you believe that, then you might as well say "hey your brand new top fuel dragster isn't as impressive as my Yugo because it hasn't made a pass yet". Nobody ever said the KB wouldn't perform, or that it wasn't producing good power or good ETs. The KB people just keep saying how the new KB is so much better than the Works 140, and there is nothing to back that statement up.

I could care less if a hundred KB people came on here and said how great their KBs worked, or how much they love them. That's fine, everyone has a right to express their likes. But don't say that a product is better than another product if you have no data to back that statement up.
