Exclamation For all the doubters...............

In reference to the quotes of "No way in hell there are SRT-10's running around" in this thread. Here is what I meant when I say there are advantages to living in the "Motor City" Do NOT believe every release date published in papers.

These were sent to me from a buddy of mine who is a fellow Lightning owner but works at DCX. These were taken in his work parking lot recently.

Ok put the truck down all you want, but remember its a 500 hp beast.. It is our competition and don't take this truck lightly ... I'm not a Dodge lover but it is an awsome motor...

Like Gator said...Let's see under the hood.....There could be a six banger under there...The wheels are the big clue...I don't see how Dodge would equip the SRT with those rims....It would cost them too much....

Looks like somebody's idea of what the SRT-10 is going to look like. The rims are ugly, the tires are skinny, and the exhaust has already been discussed. If that is production, then a lot of stuff got deleted from the concept vehicle.

First of all that thing is damn fugly!! And the engine is just a viper engine, I say "just" because they are throwing that engine around like its candy. That engine is like the villiage *****, every car is getting a turn with it!

I suspect that there are several times more 5.4's in the world, so I'm not sure that argument cuts in favor of the L.

I've seen one badged RAM 500 on I-96 in Livonia with what looked like the 22" wheels from the truck they showed at the 2002 NAIAS.

I went with a buddy to pick up his new Viper SRT-10 at the factory last week. They make the Viper engines there too so I asked if they were making engines for the pickups yet. The guys on the line said they didn't know if Dodge would building them there. They said they build 13 engines/day and 8 Vipers/day, so where are the other 5 going?
