If the prototype only ran 12.90's with a pro driver...what i doubt is,the average buyer being able to run better then low 13's...with a Viper motor

They should buy some Monster boxes and skip the 6 speed

Ford didn't have any competition when they brought out the 360 hp '99 and didn't when they bumped the '01 to 380 hp.

I believe they would have brought out a pretty impressive truck without Dodge. Competition will help though...

they bumped it 20 HP becuase the intercooler was spewing coolant all over the engine and had to chagne the style, the new style cools the air much better, they also added a few things to it (new computer programming, 90mm MAF)

but from 360-380 is one thing,
380-500 is another

LOOK at the plate it says it is a manufacture plate.SO it is real unless was photo shopped which I dought.Its really the production ones are on hold due the fact that they can not build enough motors for the vipers and the v-10 plus, for that vehicle too.Have it on very good source who is in the know.Stan
