Going retro on the wheels...

I've got a 2002 Red L. I used to have a 2000 L and I think I liked the wheels that came with the 2000 better.

What do you all think?

Should I put the 2000 model style wheels on a 2002, or stick with the 2002 style becasue that is part of what makes a 2002 a 2002?

I await your opinions.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing.

 

I, have my F1's on my 2001 wheels for summer. Than in winter my Toyos on 2000 wheels. This way I, get to have it look both ways!!! Also the Toyos are rated all season!! Artie

 

I say go with the 03' wheels. I like them the best.

 

maybe i'm partial, but I'm all about the '99-'00 wheels, they look the best on the L in my opinion ....

 

I like the '00 wheels. 03's are nice too.

 

Keep the original wheels! They look better in my opinion, plus if you put on the older wheels people will think the truck is a 99-00 model.

 

i like the 01-02 wheels the best imo, im not to keen on the 03 wheels though

 

Neither and get some 20s.

 

Got the old style chrome wheels on my 2002. I personally like them better...

As I'm sure your aware, 01-02 wheels are easier to clean and help prevent the brake rotor/shield from soliciting unwanted flesh dotation, or something.

i've had this debate with myself since i got the truck, at first i liked the 01-02's but then i liked the 99-00's, and now i like 01-02's again.

i think that the 99-00's are nice, but i think they are more plain, where as the 01-02's for being like a "block" style they make the truck look alittle more **i dont know..... agressive... or symetrical, something like that.

but i really like the 01-02's in 20' way better that anything else.
