No problem! I somehow thought I should recognize TC, but now I see I shouldn't have. Halliburton - well, that brings up all sorts of other associations we probably should not get into here.

I think PD is OK. True, in Bisbee, they converted a mountain into a BIG hole in the ground (Lavender Pit mine), but, copper has to come from somewhere.

Anyway, the invitation was serious. And to you too Lenny (well John really), so put it in one of your brain cells that has a bit of life left.

This thread is very confusing

From seats to clouds, and then to geology?

I'm a firm advocate for mining but, I'm also an advocate for reclamation. People simply don't realize how much of an importance that mining plays into our everyday way of life...

My father has been employed in the Western Kentucky Coalfields all of his life. My grandfather was as well. It's been good to our family for the most part.

My favorite bumper sticker "Earth First! We'll Mine the Other Planets Later..."

With me, you're preaching to the choir. There's another one that is something like: "If it wasn't grown, it was mined."

You're sick of seeing my truck, so I'll stop showing it on this thread.

Thats my motto in life.....

" Keep 'em guessing "

I think in 'The Good ol' days' when this forum started there were about 10 of us with KR's and if it wasn't for hijacking threads with all sorts of other nonsense we would have gone slowly mad. (Yes, I know, some of us did)
There's only so much 10 people can say about leather (Well, depending on your personal habits), or trucks.

My wife was a school head mistress (And I do like a head mistress).....principal to you lot......and for about 10 years I would pick her up each evening from the school.
One time after all those years one of her staff approached me and said....."You know, John, we really don't know what to make of you"

Great !! Objective achieved !

For some of us 'old timers' to the King Ranch Forum, this is very very normal. You'll learn.

Oh yea I know that area. I used to go to that Lowes back before they built one closer. I am right off of I-35 and Heritage Trace. Other side of the city basically. I go to that nursery over there by that Lowe's from time to time for plants. Or to be honest for my wife.

Talk about small world again. I keep my boat at the very same place. I am in the lot they just opened sometime last year. Sure wish they had concrete or asphalt there. If they ever build anything closer I will have to move. Price is about the same as the All Storage places. Forgot to asnwer the Lowe's question. There is a Lowes right off 377 by the Target. I forget what road that is. There is Target and a Home Depot where you turn.

Just a dry MF towel will get that haze off, if not, a lightly damp Mf will do. Often the haze appears if you apply to much product. It usually appears in the seams or on or near the piping.

Funny about the storage, oh Danny and Chad have made some money at that place, it was 55 bucks until last year. Chads is nicer and the clients there are nicer too. Most are RV's and boaters so they know how to properly park in the assigned spaces.

Getting anything closer will just cost you more. My buddy keeps his rig at Smithfield storage, its 125 per month. Not worth it to me.

Only takes me 15 min to pick up my 5er. No biggie. Saves me some green backs.
