throwing HIDs in there just because they have horrible light output is not the solution. Making other drivers suffer from the glare of HIDs is not the right answer, because I will bet anything those are not designed to handle HIDs, even though they are big bad projectors.

Easy killer, I made that mistake as well and am definitely dealing with poor light output at the moment. Sometimes people make mistakes. I've been sitting on a build list for an FX-R retrofit for a couple of months now, so I'll continue to suffer until my build comes up in March.

I do however, agree with your comment about shoving an HID into a halogen projector housing that was definitely not designed for it.

That's my two cents, anyway.

thanks man. guess it just really just drives me nuts when people put ricer looking headlights on any vehicle or especially when they put HIDs in non HID housings.

They're either H3s or 9006s. Hope they are the latter.

Get either Philips Xtreme Powers or Sylvania Silverstar Ultras

Right, stock is H13. You need either H3s or 9006 for your low beam projector.

My crappy Ebay projectors actually have H1 bulbs for low and high beams, so I'd recommend checking the size before you buy....just pull the bulb and take a look.

Raptor, I haven't used the bulbs that you mentioned; but do you have an opinion on PIAA bulbs?

overpriced crap

You could get a $1 bill, put a Philips logo on it, and I'd pay $5 for it.
