ebay projectors

before I get flamed I know they are not real projectors and I am planning on running them with halagens only.

Will they put out as much light as the stock headlight setup that is my question.

Depends on which ones.....imo

They tend to be worse....due to poor lense quality and focusing.....more for go and show than safety at night.....

that is what I was afraid of I have some black oem painted ones I like them well
but the lens are old and scratched and when the lights are one there is lots of scracthes inside the lens. I got some oem style black ones from ebay but my bulbs would not fit poor quality. I really only want to spend about 200.

Have you tried to trim the bulb slots so they mount right?

Found these economical replacements.....http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/2...d00110197.html

I did the cheap E-Bay lights and spent $175 for my HD head lights and now I wish I didn't because I just took them out of the truck after 2 years. Spend the money once do it right the first time so you can enjoy them instead of trying to bring them back to life after a couple years. If I knew what I know now when I was looking I would have saved the money and done a retro conversion on my stock lights and been done with it the first time now I have to spend the money twice whether I do a conversion or add a light bar and lights.

For $225, you can buy a HID retro fit kit.

I do not want retro fit projectors or hids I just want black headlights with reg bulbs.

88racing I sent them back but am thinking about ordering again and maybe triming the bulb holder if they will not fit. I really just want a set of black headlights that give off light at least as good as stock.

You can open up your headlights and paint them black yourself. The hardest part is getting them open, which is kinda hard on stock headlights, but it can be done. Painting them and sealing them is simple.

Then go buy a pair of Hella black head lights, but do not buy those cheap POS E-Bay lights you will only have to spend the money twice in the end.
